Três navios cumprem quarentena no Porto de Paranaguá, no Paraná, após o resultado positivo para a covid-19 de parte da tripulação. As embarcações permanecem isoladas em uma área em frente ao cais e, por determinação da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa), o acesso de terceiros a elas está proibido.

De acordo com o governo do Paraná, as embarcações só poderão atracar após a realização de novos testes que deem resultado negativo para a doença. O período inicial previsto para a quarentena é de 10 dias. A autoridade portuária informou que está seguindo as determinações da Anvisa.

“Os navios em quarentena são o MV Astakos – de bandeira maltesa, que descarregava fertilizantes. A embarcação chegou no dia 25 de julho e entrou em quarentena no dia seguinte, dia 26; o Meghna Princess – de bandeira de Bangladesh, carregava soja no berço 213, desde o dia 27 de julho, e entrou em quarentena no dia 29; e o Redhead – com bandeira de Antígua e Barbuda, que chegou para carregar açúcar no berço 201, desde o último dia 25, e também entrou em quarentena no dia 29 de julho”, informou, em nota, o governo paranaense.

De acordo com a nota, o único navio para o qual a Anvisa acionou o plano de contingência para o uso de ambulância, para retirada de tripulantes que precisavam de atendimento hospitalar, foi o Meghna Princess.
