Vendas de veículos novos tiveram alta de 11,2%

A produção de veículos cresceu 1,3% % em 2023, ao alcançar 2,20 milhões de unidades ante as 2,37 milhões produzidas no mesmo período do ano anterior, segundo balanço divulgado hoje (10) pela Associação Nacional de Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea). Para a entidade, os números poderiam ser melhores, caso as exportações não tivessem caído 16% e as importações aumentado 29%.
Segundo os dados, a produção de caminhões e ônibus caiu 37,5%, em função dos custos mais elevados das novas tecnologias de controle de emissões, adotadas para atender a etapa P8 do Proconve, válida desde janeiro de 2023.
As vendas de veículos novos tiveram alta de 11,2%, em 2023, com 2,18 milhões mil unidades emplacadas contra as 2,10 milhões do mesmo período do ano anterior. Acrescentando caminhões e ônibus, os emplacamentos de autoveículos chegaram a 2.309 mil unidades, 9,7% a mais que em 2022.
“A média diária de emplacamentos cresceu de forma consistente ao longo de 2023, fechando com 12,4 mil unidades/dia em dezembro, melhor resultado dos últimos quatro anos. O bom desempenho no último mês foi puxado principalmente pelas locadoras, que compraram 75 mil unidades, 30 mil a mais que a média do ano passado. Outro fator que impulsionou os emplacamentos foram as promoções para vendas de modelos híbridos e elétricos antes da volta do Imposto de Importação, que ocorreu na virada deste ano”, diz a Anfavea.
As exportações tiveram queda de 16% de janeiro a dezembro de 2023, com 403,9 mil unidades comercializadas no mercado externo. No mesmo período do ano passado esse número foi 480,9 mil. A queda ocorreu devido à diminuição de vendas em países como Argentina (-16%), Chile (-57%) e Colômbia (-53%).
Para 2024 a Anfavea, estima que as vendas cresçam 6,1% (2.45 milhões de unidades), 6,2% na produção (2.47 milhões) e 0,7% nas exportações (407 mil unidades). Segundo o presidente da entidade, Márcio de Lima Leite, há motivos para acreditar em um ano positivo para o setor automotivo brasileiro porque, além da expectativa de crescimento do mercado interno e da produção, há a publicação da Medida Provisória nº 1.205 que instituiu o Programa Mover.
“Trata-se de uma política industrial muito moderna e inteligente, que garante previsibilidade a toda a cadeia automotiva presente no país e as novas empresas que chegarem, e ainda privilegia as novas tecnologias de descarbonização, os investimentos em P&D e favorece a neoindustrialização,” explicou.
