Doze pessoas com mandados de prisão expedidos foram alcançadas, nas primeiras 48 horas de 2025, após flagrantes das câmeras inteligentes do Sistema de Reconhecimento Facial da Secretaria da Segurança Pública da Bahia. As capturas aconteceram nas cidades de Salvador, Barreiras, Porto Seguro, Ilhéus e Itabuna.
Dos presos, quatro eram procurados por homicídio, outros cinco por prática de roubo e três possuem dívida de pensão alimentícia.
As duas primeiras capturas aconteceram na capital baiana, no dia 1° de janeiro, durante as festas de celebração de fim de ano. Um procurado por prática de roubo e um homem com mandado de prisão por dívida de pensão alimentícia acabaram presos.
Em seguida, ainda na capital baiana, a ferramenta emitiu alertas para outros cinco procurados pelas práticas de homicídio e roubo, conduzidos por equipes das 2ª CIPM, 12ª CIPM, 17ª CIPM, 36ª CIPM e Comando de Policiamento Regional (CPRC) Central.
Em Barreiras, Oeste do Estado, e Porto Seguro, Extremo Sul, foram registradas três capturas por débito alimentício. Já em Ilhéus e Itabuna, dois homens com mandados de prisão por homicídio foram capturados.
Reconhecimento Facial
Somente em 2024, a tecnologia alcançou 1.131 procurados. Desde o lançamento da ferramenta, em 2019, foram contabilizadas 2.397 prisões de homens e mulheres procurados pela Justiça.
As câmeras foram implementadas em pontos estratégicos e áreas de grande circulação e pessoas com o objetivo de retirar de circulação pessoas que cometeram crimes.
Além de homicídio e tráfico de entorpecentes, a ferramenta já auxiliou no alcance de pessoas com ordens de captura expedidas por formação e quadrilha, associação criminosa, estupro, crimes contra a mulher, crimes contra o patrimônio, lesão corporal e outros delitos.
Grandes Eventos
As câmeras também são instaladas em Plataformas de Observações Elevadas, caminhões equipado com antenas e central de operação, para serem direcionadas para reforçar o vídeomonitoramento de grandes eventos. Ao longo dos anos, as POEs foram usadas em micaretas, festejos juninos, feiras agropecuárias e outros eventos na capital, RMS e interior do Estado.
