Como garantir que o cinema produzido no interior se mantenha vivo e sustentável? Essa é a reflexão central proposta pelo 3º Fórum Audiovisual dos Interiores da Bahia, que acontece de 5 a 9 de novembro em Iraquara, na Chapada Diamantina. Com o tema “Território Vivo, Cinema Sustentável”, o evento discute caminhos para fortalecer redes de produção, exibição e formação no audiovisual para além dos grandes centros.
Realizado pela Ato3 Produções, o Fórum se consolida como espaço de encontro e articulação entre profissionais, estudantes, coletivos e instituições de todas as regiões do estado. Nesta edição, o projeto tem como anfitrião o 5º Festival Americano de Cinema e Vídeo Socioambiental de Iraquara (FASAI 2025).
As inscrições já estão abertas e podem ser feitas de forma gratuita por meio deste link. Além de garantir a participação no evento, o formulário de inscrição servirá como base para a realização do primeiro censo dos realizadores audiovisuais do interior baiano. Com isso, ao registrar seus dados, cada participante irá contribuir para o diagnóstico do setor a partir das experiências e demandas de quem atua fora da capital.
Programação prevista
A programação do 3º Fórum vai incluir duas oficinas, três workshops e seis grupos de trabalho com profissionais e especialistas das diferentes cadeias produtivas do audiovisual. As atividades irão culminar na elaboração da Carta de Iraquara, documento coletivo que reunirá as reflexões e propostas discutidas ao longo dos encontros.
Uma das novidades da edição é o Seminário de Cinema Indígena, que vai destacar experiências, produções e perspectivas de cineastas e comunidades indígenas da Bahia e de outras regiões do país. Assim, o evento visa reforçar seu compromisso com um audiovisual mais plural e representativo.
O Fórum vai discutir ainda temas como políticas públicas e desburocratização, modelos produtivos, captação de recursos, circulação de produções socioambientais, inovação e acessibilidade. Para Daniel Leite Almeida, diretor executivo da Ato3, “é impossível pensar futuro sem pensar a sustentabilidade e em como a gente pode transformar nosso território em um espaço de convivência respeitosa entre os pares e o meio ambiente”.
“Da mesma forma, é impossível pensar o futuro do cinema sem pensarmos em práticas que também levem em consideração a sustentabilidade”, acrescenta o cineasta, responsável pela coordenação geral do projeto.
Parceria com o FASAI
A terceira edição do Fórum Audiovisual dos Interiores da Bahia será realizada no mesmo período do 5º Festival Americano de Cinema e Vídeo Socioambiental de Iraquara. O FASAI irá exibir e premiar obras cinematográficas, entre longas, médias e curtas-metragens, com temática socioambiental, a fim de apoiar e fortalecer uma rede em defesa do meio ambiente por meio do audiovisual.
A parceria entre os dois eventos reforça a vocação da Chapada Diamantina como espaço de debate sobre as relações entre cultura, natureza e sustentabilidade. Iraquara, que recebe o Fórum e o Festival, é conhecida como a “cidade das grutas”, por abrigar um dos maiores sistemas de cavernas do Brasil e o segundo maior lençol freático do país. De origem tupi, o nome do município significa “buraco do mel”, ressaltando o caráter simbólico e acolhedor do território.
Histórico do Fórum
Criado em 2023, o Fórum Audiovisual dos Interiores da Bahia teve sua primeira edição em Vitória da Conquista, com foco na descentralização do setor e nas políticas de fomento. Em abril de 2025, o evento foi realizado em Ipiaú, alcançando mais de 4 mil pessoas junto ao 4º Circuito Cine Éden e se firmando como espaço estratégico de articulação regional. A ação resultou na publicação do livro “2º Fórum Audiovisual dos Interiores da Bahia – Território Cinema”.
Agora, em Iraquara, a iniciativa reafirma seu papel como um movimento coletivo e itinerante que busca projetar novas formas de existir e produzir cinema a partir do interior. A terceira edição conta com o apoio financeiro do Governo do Estado, através do Fundo de Cultura, Secretaria da Fazenda e Secretaria de Cultura da Bahia.
Além disso, tem apoio da Prefeitura Municipal de Iraquara e apoio institucional da Associação do Setor Audiovisual do Sudoeste Baiano (SASB). É realizado em parceria com o Curso de Cinema e Audiovisual da Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (UESB), por meio do programa de extensão Janela Indiscreta.

A couple from the United Kingdom had to cut their vacation in Venice short after being caught swimming in the Grand Canal.
The 35-year-old British man and his 25-year-old Romanian girlfriend were forced to return to their home in the UK on Thursday, the same day they arrived in the city, after gondoliers reported them to local police for taking a dip in the canal.
The pair were fined €450 ($529) each and expelled from Venice for 48 hours, marking the 1,136th such sanction to be handed down to badly behaved tourists in the city so far this year, according to the Venice City Police.
The unnamed couple took the plunge near the Accademia bridge near St. Mark’s Square and gondoliers at the Rio San Vidal kiosk immediately called authorities, who removed them from the water.
“I thank the gondoliers for their cooperation and timely reporting,” said Venice Security Councillor Elisabetta Pesce in a statement published by city authorities on Friday.

Poor visitor behavior is one of the worst byproducts of overtourism, Franzoi said, and incidents are on the rise.
In July 2024, an Australian man was fined and expelled for diving off the Rialto Bridge after his friends posted about it on social media.
The year before, two French tourists were fined and expelled for skinny dipping in the canal under the moonlight. In August 2022, a German man was fined and expelled for surfing in the canal.

“It was necessary to establish a system of penalties that would effectively deter potential violations,” Pesce said when the ordinance was passed in February.

“The new rules for groups accompanied by guides encourage a more sustainable form of tourism, while also ensuring greater protection and safety in the city and better balancing the needs of Venice residents and visitors.”
