Há 383 dias para as eleições municipais de 2024, a vice-prefeita Dona Iu (Ilzinete Pires Correia da Silva), do PSB, apoiada pelo prefeito Cristiano Cardoso Azevedo (PSB), apresenta tendência de crescimento e lidera com folga levantamento feito pela Agência Sudoeste – Jornalismo, Assessoria e Comunicação/Jornal do Sudoeste, sobre as eleições para a Prefeitura Municipal de Rio de Contas.
Nos cenários pesquisados, a escolhida do prefeito Cristiano Azevedo para disputa da sucessão municipal do ano que vem, lidera em todos os cenários, com destaque para quando tem seu nome vinculado ao do gestor.
Na pesquisa estimulada, quando os entrevistadores apresentam os nomes dos pré-candidatos, a socialista Dona Iu soma 41,50%. O candidato da oposição, vereador Célio Evangelista (PSD) soma 36,00%. Os indecisos somam 20,50% e outros 2,00% disseram que não votam em nenhum dos dois pré-candidatos apontados.
Levando em consideração somente as intenções de voto de quem já se decidiu (descontando-se, portanto, quem respondeu que “não sabe” ou não opinou ou que não votaria “em nenhum deles”), o atual vice-prefeito levaria a disputa com 53,33% da preferência, e o vereador Célio Evangelista seria o segundo colocado, com 46,67%.
Com uma Administração aprovada por 62,50% dos moradores de Rio de Contas. 25,00% consideram ótima e 37,50% boa, contra 11,00% (4,75% ruim e 6,25% péssimo) que a reprovam e 3,50% que não souberam ou não responderam, naturalmente o prefeito Cristiano Azevedo é um cabo eleitoral que não pode ser desprezado por nenhum dos candidatos.
No quesito rejeição, o levantamento realizado pela Agência Sudoeste – Jornalismo, Assessoria e Comunicação/Jornal do Sudoeste, mostra que os dois candidatos, se as eleições fossem hoje, estariam tecnicamente empatados no limite da margem de erro. A pré-candidata Dona Iu é rejeitada por 29,25%, enquanto 26,75 dissera que não votariam de jeito nenhum no vereador Célio. Os que não rejeitam nenhum dos dois somam 11,50%. Rejeitam os dois 11,00% e 30,00 não souberam ou não opinaram.
A Pesquisa
Na pesquisa realizada pela Agência Sudoeste – Jornalismo, Assessoria e Comunicação/Jornal do Sudoeste, entre os dias 17 e 18 de agosto últimos, ouviu 400 eleitores residentes na sede (Centro e Bairros Vermelhão, Olaria, Panelada, Sossego e Pirulito) e zona rural (Distrito de Marcolino Moura e os Povoados de Arapiranga, Mato Grosso, João Vaz, Umbuzeiro dos Santos, Engenho Velho, Várzea, Pilões, Baixão, Casa de Telha, Caraíbas, Sentença, Lagoa da Baraúna, Lagoa Grande e Fazendola) de Rio de Contas, com idade superior a 16 anos, observadas as variáveis de sexo, faixa etária, religiosidade, formação escolar. A margem de erro é de 4.0 pontos percentuais para mais ou para menos, para intervalo de confiança de 90%.
