Esse é o lema da 6ª Marcha do Silêncio, que busca trazer à tona mazelas causadas pela ditadura militar, convocando a sociedade a não esquecer o golpe que abalou a democracia brasileira. Prevista para acontecer no dia 31 de março, na Praça da Piedade, em Salvador, a manifestação é promovida pelo Grupo Tortura Nunca Mais e pela Frente Brasil Popular. Para discutir os preparativos, os organizadores se reuniram hoje, dia 10, com o chefe de gabinete da Secretaria de Justiça e Direitos Humanos (SJDH), Raimundo Nascimento, a superintendente de Direitos Humanos, Trícia Calmon, e a diretora-geral da Fundac, Regina Affonso.
“Essa agenda é de total interesse nosso em ampliar o debate e de inserir em nossas ações de reafirmação da cidadania, democracia e promoção dos Direitos Humanos. A pauta da memória e verdade é prioridade nossa”, afirmou Raimundo Nascimento.
Com o objetivo de unir esforços entre a sociedade civil organizada e o poder público, os organizadores da Marcha propuseram uma série de iniciativas, como debates e mobilizações, especialmente voltadas para a juventude e a comunidade escolar, visando ampliar a divulgação do evento em defesa da memória e da verdade.
Este ano, a ideia é também aproveitar a repercussão internacional da vitória do longa metragem brasileiro “Ainda Estou Aqui” no Oscar, premiado como Melhor Filme Internacional. Dirigido por Walter Salles, a obra cinematográfica aborda justamente o tema do golpe militar, a resistência, e o papel central de Eunice Paiva — viúva do deputado Rubens Paiva, torturado e assassinado pela ditadura em 1971 — em sua busca por respostas sobre o paradeiro do marido.
“Queremos muito fortalecer as mobilizações este ano. Trazer as pessoas para as ruas, reforçar a pauta da memória na Bahia. Não podemos jamais esquecer o que vivemos. Essa é uma luta coletiva”, declararam Sirlene Assis, presidente do Tortura Nunca Mais, e Emiliano José, escritor e integrante do Grupo.
“Fizemos uma força-tarefa com outras secretarias estratégicas para mobilizar e fortalecer esse ato simbólico, histórico e em homenagem aos heróis da resistência. A ideia é articular a participação de professores e alunos, promover encontros intergeracionais para ampliar a compreensão do tema. A longo prazo, também queremos estruturar uma agenda conjunta com as Caravanas de Direitos Humanos, uma estratégia que converge plenamente com a defesa dos direitos e da democracia promovida pela Marcha, além de levar às feiras literárias livros e debates sobre o tema”, apontou Trícia Calmon.
