Um homem foi alvo de um Mandado de Busca e Apreensão na terça-feira (25) por compartilhar material de pornografia infantojuvenil em Tanque Novo. A ação foi parte da Operação Infância Protegida, realizada pela Polícia Federal.
De acordo com as investigações, o suspeito era o administrador de um grupo em um Aplicativo de Mensagens que contava com 2,7 mil participantes, onde disseminava conteúdos com cenas de abuso sexual envolvendo crianças e adolescentes.
A Polícia Federal também revelou que o mesmo material foi disponibilizado por meio de um chat em uma rede social. O objetivo da operação é não apenas identificar e responsabilizar os envolvidos, mas também proteger possíveis vítimas, assegurando a integridade física e psicológica de crianças e adolescentes.
Ainda segundo a Polícia Federal, a operação foi liderada pela Delegacia da PF em Vitória da Conquista e contou com o apoio de órgãos de inteligência e tecnologia.
