Municípios com decreto de emergência por estiagem na Bahia poderão se cadastrar, a partir desta quinta-feira (24), no Sistema de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional do Governo Estadual para receber milho para alimentação animal. O anúncio foi feito durante reunião do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues, na manhã desta quarta-feira (23), com prefeitos das 89 cidades com Decretos de Emergência para dialogar sobre ações imediatas para mitigação da seca na Bahia.
“Estaremos de mãos dadas com os prefeitos, com ações de água, alimentação animal, entrega de equipamentos, de cestas básicas, para garantir a assistência aos municípios durante todo o período de estiagem”, garantiu Jerônimo Rodrigues.
A iniciativa, coordenada pela da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), destinará R$ 32 milhões para distribuição de 250 mil sacas de milho para 25 mil famílias que criam caprinos, ovinos e vacas leiteiras. Para atendimento aos municípios, será aberta inscrição no site http://data.car.ba.gov.br/san-emergencial para que as Prefeituras Municipais homologadas realizem um cadastro, com o número do Decreto, e recebam o benefício.
As sacas de milho serão entregues às famílias inscritas no Cadastro Nacional da Agricultura Familiar (CAF). Serão 12 pontos de distribuição espalhados pela Bahia, que vão atender os Territórios de Irecê, Velho Chico, Chapada Diamantina, Piemonte do Paraguaçu, Piemonte da Diamantina, Sudoeste Baiano, Médio Rio de Contas, Vale do Jiquiriçá, Itaparica, Piemonte Norte do Itapicuru, Sertão do São Francisco, Bacia do Paramirim, Sertão Produtivo, Sisal, Bacia do Jacuípe, Semi-Árido Nordeste II, Litoral Norte, Agreste Baiano e Portal do Sertão.
O cronograma prevê entregas do dia 28 de abril a 30 de maio. Durante a reunião, o chefe do Executivo baiano também sinalizou que outras ações estão sendo planejadas, em parceria com municípios e com o Governo Federal, para atender demandas específicas de cada cidade baiana. Uma delas, comum aos municípios, é o abastecimento de água.
