Os vereadores da Comissão Especial finalizaram a primeira fase da revisão do texto, que agora será apresentado para debate com a sociedade em Audiências Públicas.

A Comissão Especial da Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista encerrou nesta quarta-feira (14) a fase de revisão do texto da Lei Orgânica do Município, considerada a “Constituição” local. Após semanas de encontros, vereadores e demais membros da Comissão concluíram o texto-base da nova proposta, que agora será submetido a uma série de Audiências Públicas com a população. A última reunião marcou um momento importante no processo de modernização da Lei, que está em vigor há mais de 30 anos. Para o vereador Luciano Gomes Lisboa (PCdoB), membro da Comissão, a reformulação é não apenas necessária, mas urgente.
De acordo com o vereador, a reforma da Lei Orgânica precisa ser reformulada e esta foi uma pauta que defendeu, durante sua gestão à frente da Mesa Diretora da asa, em 2019, mas que não avançou, o que está acontecendo agora. Luciano Gomes avaliou positivamente o trabalho que vem sendo realizado pela Comissão Especial, que ressaltou é muito importante para Vitória da Conquista. Segundo reforçou, o trabalho dos vereadores tem envolvido toda a Casa, não apenas os membros da Comissão, focado na elaboração de um texto que atenda a toda população conquistense, principalmente a parcela mais vulnerável e que mais depende de ações e investimentos do poder público.
Esse também é o entendimento do vereador Joventino Paulo – Paulinho – Oliveira Silva (PSDB), que avalia o trabalho realizado pela Comissão Especial como um passo decisivo para construção de um texto abrangente, moderno e conciso , em consonância com os dispositivos constitucionais da República e do Estado. O vereador tucano destacou que o texto elaborado na Comissão contempla o município como um todo e que está pronto para ser expandido e ser debatido e melhorado com a participação da sociedade. Lembrou que a primeira Audiência Pública está prevista para acontecer no Campus da Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (Uesb). Ponderou, ainda, que é consenso na Comissão Especial e na Casa, que também seja feita a reformulação do Regimento Interno, que ressaltou é um documento fundamental para garantir o bom funcionamento do Poder Legislativo, estabelecendo regras e procedimentos para a organização, estrutura e atuação dos vereadores.
Outro membro da Comissão Especial, o Williams – Subtenente Muniz – Muniz dos Santos (PDT), reforçou ao término da reunião que marcou o encerramento da primeira etapa da Reforma da Lei Orgânica Municipal, destacou a relevância desse momento e o comprometimento dos vereadores que participaram ativamente do processo. Para o vereador pedetista é inadmissível que Vitória da Conquista, terceira maior cidade do Estado, ainda possua uma Lei Orgânica com três décadas de existência. Ela ressalta que este é um momento único para o município, a Câmara Municipal e para toda população conquistense.
A próxima fase do Processo de Reformulação da Lei orgânica Municipal, conduzido pela Comissão Especial, será aberta à participação da sociedade. O documento elaborado nesta etapa será discutido em Audiências Públicas, com o propósito de coletar sugestões, realizar ajustes necessários e fortalecer a transparência do debate. A primeira Audiência está agendada para o próximo dia 21 de maio, às 19h, na Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (Uesb), no Salão do Júri, situado no segundo andar do Módulo 2.
