A Campanha Agosto Lilás, voltada à conscientização e ao enfrentamento da violência contra a mulher, tem promovido uma série de ações em diversas regiões da Bahia. A iniciativa reúne Instituições Públicas, sociedade civil e Forças de Segurança Pública, reforçando o compromisso com a igualdade de gênero e o fortalecimento da rede de proteção às mulheres.
Em Brumado, as atividades coordenadas pela Polícia Civil da Bahia, por meio do Núcleo Especial de Atendimento à Mulher (Neam), vinculado à 20ª Coordenadoria Regional de Polícia Civil do Interior (20ª Coorpin), ganharam um tom de homenagem e reflexão. Durante o lançamento da Campanha, no último dia 11, foi prestado tributo à Delegada Patrícia Neves Jackes Aires, de 39 anos, assassinada em agosto de 2024, vítima de feminicídio.
Patrícia Neves, Bacharela em Direito e Especialista em Direito Penal e Processo Penal, atuava desde 2016 na Polícia Civil da Bahia, com destaque no combate à violência de gênero. Ela foi encontrada morta no banco do carona de seu veículo, em uma área de mata na cidade de São Sebastião do Passé, na Região Metropolitana de Salvador, no dia 11 de agosto de 2024. As investigações apontaram que a Delegada foi estrangulada com o cinto de segurança do carro. O autor confesso do crime é seu ex-companheiro, Tancredo Neves Feliciano de Arruda, que foi preso em flagrante e teve a prisão convertida em preventiva durante a Audiência de Custódia.
Com o lema “Nenhuma a Menos”, a equipe do Neam/20ª Coorpin estendeu uma faixa com a imagem da Delegada Patrícia Neves Jackes Aires na fachada da unidade e realizou um minuto de silêncio em sua memória.
A Delegada Ellen Mara Lages Neiva Pierote, titular do Núcleo Especial de Atendimento à Mulher (Neam/Brumado), destaca a importância da campanha Agosto Lilás como ferramenta de mobilização social e enfrentamento à violência doméstica. “A violência contra a mulher é uma questão urgente e precisa ser enfrentada com a participação ativa de toda a sociedade. Muitas vítimas ainda sofrem em silêncio, por medo, vergonha ou falta de informação”, afirmou.
Segundo a Delegada Ellen Mara Pierote, o número de Boletins de Ocorrência e casos reincidentes de violência doméstica tem aumentado na cidade, o que evidencia a necessidade de campanhas preventivas e investimentos em políticas públicas. “O Agosto Lilás não é apenas sobre conscientização. É um chamado à ação coletiva. A violência contra a mulher não é um problema individual, mas um desafio social que exige o engajamento de todos”, concluiu.
