Duas mulheres foram resgatadas em situação análoga à escravidão durante ações de fiscalização realizadas pela Auditoria-Fiscal do Trabalho nos municípios de Vitória da Conquista e Poções, no último dia 11. A operação contou com o apoio do Ministério Público do Trabalho, da Defensoria Pública da União e da Polícia Federal.
Em Vitória da Conquista, uma mulher de 46 anos foi retirada de uma residência onde vivia desde a infância, sem remuneração e submetida a jornadas exaustivas. Além das tarefas domésticas, ela também trabalhava em uma lanchonete anexa à casa, de propriedade dos empregadores, realizando atendimento ao público e limpeza. A ação segue em andamento, com medidas voltadas à reparação dos direitos trabalhistas e à reintegração da vítima. Uma audiência com os empregadores está agendada para a esta terça-feira (16), às 16h, para tratar do pagamento das verbas devidas.
Já em Poções, uma idosa de 86 anos foi encontrada em condições semelhantes. Entregue ainda criança aos pais da atual empregadora, ela prestou serviços à família por mais de sete décadas, em regime de disponibilidade integral. Analfabeta, a trabalhadora era impedida de sair desacompanhada e vivia sem autonomia, isolada do convívio social. Segundo relato colhido pelos fiscais, há cerca de dois anos, o filho biológico da vítima tentou reencontrá-la, mas foi impedido pela família empregadora, que a escondeu. A atual responsável é Médica do Trabalho e proprietária de uma Clínica na cidade.
