A Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista anunciou a criação de seu próprio canal de televisão, a TV Câmara, iniciativa que promete transformar a comunicação pública local e fortalecer os pilares da transparência e da fiscalização legislativa. O anúncio foi feito pelo Diretor Financeiro da Fundação Paulo Jackson – Entidade responsável pela gestão da TV e da Rádio da Assembleia Legislativa da Bahia (Alba) – Almir Pereira, durante o 1º Encontro de Comunicação Legislativa realizado pela Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista nos dias 29 e 30 de outubro.
O Projeto integra o Programa Brasil Digital, do Governo Federal, através do Ministério das Comunicações, e representa um investimento histórico de aproximadamente R$ 1,5 milhão. A nova emissora funcionará no Canal Virtual 7, inserindo Vitória da Conquista na Rede Legislativa de Comunicação, ao lado da TV Alba (Assembleia Legislativa da Bahia), TV Câmara Federal e TV Senado.
“Já está autorizado o Canal Virtual 7, que integrará a Rede Legislativa de Comunicação junto à TV Alba, à TV Câmara Federal e ao Senado. A Câmara de Vitória da Conquista terá um importante instrumento para se comunicar diretamente com a população, transmitindo sessões, audiências e programações locais”, afirmou Almir Pereira.
A proposta garante acesso gratuito e em alta qualidade (TV Digital) a conteúdos voltados ao acompanhamento dos trabalhos legislativos em todas as esferas: federal, estadual e municipal. A implantação da infraestrutura conta com apoio técnico da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBa) e está em fase final de formalização. O cronograma prevê a assinatura de acordos, licenciamento junto à Anatel (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações), aquisição de equipamentos e instalação da estrutura de transmissão.
Para o Diretor de Comunicação da Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista, jornalista Fábio Santos Sena, o principal objetivo da TV Câmara é democratizar o acesso à informação legislativa. “Será um canal aberto que vai assegurar maior transparência e interlocução do Poder Legislativo com a comunidade regional”, destacou.
O presidente da Casa, vereador Ivan Cordeiro da Silva Filho (PL), também celebrou a iniciativa, ressaltando a importância de canais diretos de comunicação entre o poder público e a sociedade. “Serve para os vereadores, para nós que somos da gestão, para os servidores. Ajuda a estreitar a relação entre a população e o poder público”, afirmou.
A expectativa é que a TV Câmara se torne um marco na história da comunicação legislativa em Vitória da Conquista, ampliando o alcance das ações parlamentares e promovendo maior participação cidadã.
