O cenário político em Vitória da Conquista ganhou novos contornos após o anúncio do vice-prefeito Aloísio Alan – Dr. Alan – Costa Fernandes (Republicanos) de que não seguirá mais ao lado do advogado Wagner Santos Alves (União Brasil), esposo da prefeita Ana Sheila Lemos Andrade (União Brasil), pré-candidato a uma cadeira na Assembleia Legislativa da Bahia.
A decisão sinaliza, nas entrelinhas, a possibilidade de também não integrar a campanha de 2026 ao lado do pré-candidato ao Governo da Bahia, Antônio Carlos – ACM Neto – Peixoto de Magalhães Neto (União Brasil).
O movimento ocorre após semanas de especulações sobre a escolha do vice na chapa de ACM Neto. Entre os nomes cogitados estava o da prefeita Ana Sheila Lemos Andrade, hipótese que abriria espaço para que Aloisio Alan – Dr. Alan – Fernandes assumisse o comando da Prefeitura Municipal e articulasse sua candidatura à reeleição em 2028.
Durante esse período, o vice-prefeito havia demonstrado apoio político a Wagner Alves, preterindo publicamente a candidatura de sua esposa, a vereadora Lara de Castro – Drª Lara – Araújo Fernandes (Republicanos), à Assembleia Legislativa da Bahia. O gesto foi interpretado como tentativa de fortalecer a aliança com o grupo da prefeita.
Com o fim da disputa pela vaga de vice na chapa majoritária e diante da definição dos rumos políticos, Dr. Alan Fernandes anunciou sua ruptura com o projeto do União Brasil, inicialmente restrita à candidatura conquistense para a Assembleia Legislativa. A decisão expõe fissuras dentro da base governista local e abre espaço para novas articulações em torno das eleições de 2026 e da sucessão municipal de 2028.
Ao abandonar a pré-candidatura de Wagner Alves e declarar apoio à esposa, o vice-prefeito enviou um recado ao eleitorado e apontou para uma possível reconfiguração das alianças políticas locais e na região. O movimento ganha ainda mais relevância diante da entrada do senador da República e pré-candidato à reeleição Ângelo Mário Coronel Martins de Araújo no Republicanos, fortalecendo a legenda e ampliando seu peso nas negociações.
Agora, o futuro da relação entre a prefeita e o vice dependerá das articulações nos bastidores e do posicionamento de ACM Neto diante da disputa entre dois aliados locais: Lara Fernandes e Wagner Alves. O certo é que a nova postura de Dr. Alan Fernandes abriu uma ferida na unidade do grupo liderado pela prefeita. Caberá ao pré-candidato ACM Neto, juntamente com a gestora, decidir se buscará o diálogo para preservar a coesão política ou se permitirá que a ruptura se torne definitiva, com potencial para comprometer qualquer construção futura.
Para o público externo, tanto a prefeita Ana Sheila Lemos Andrade quanto o vice-prefeito Aloisio Alan – Dr. Alan – Fernandes procuraram minimizar a possibilidade de ruptura política, destacando que o apoio a candidatos distintos para a Assembleia Legislativa não comprometerá a condução administrativa do município.
A prefeita enfatizou que, apesar das diferenças nas candidaturas, ambos estarão engajados em garantir representação para Vitória da Conquista. Já o vice-prefeito, ao afastar a hipótese de rompimento institucional e político, afirmou, contrariando fatos, que já teria comunicado há 45 dias à gestora que não manteria apoio ao advogado Wagner Alves, concentrando esforços na campanha de sua esposa, a vereadora Lara de Castro – Drª Lara – Araújo Fernandes.
Sob condição de anonimato, uma liderança política de Vitória da Conquista, próxima tanto da prefeita Ana Sheila Lemos Andrade quanto do vice-prefeito Aloísio Alan Fernandes, afirmou ao JS que o cenário eleitoral de 2026 ainda está em fase inicial e que há tempo para ajustes nas candidaturas à Assembleia Legislativa e à Câmara Federal. Segundo essa fonte, a unidade do grupo liderado pela prefeita não será comprometida pela formalização das candidaturas de Wagner Alves e da vereadora Lara Fernandes.
“Ainda há um longo caminho até as convenções partidárias que definirão os nomes que vão disputar uma vaga na Assembleia Legislativa do Estado e na Câmara Federal. O grupo permanece coeso, confio na maturidade dos envolvidos e acredito que as decisões estratégicas serão tomadas em conjunto, no momento oportuno”, destacou.
