“No trânsito, o sentido é a vida”. Esse foi o tema de uma Blitz Educativa realizada no último sábado (19) pela Guarda Mirim de Itambé, em alusão à Semana Nacional do Trânsito.
Sob a orientação da Guarda Civil Municipal, os Guardas Mirins controlaram o trânsito na Avenida D. Pedro II, via mais movimentada do centro da cidade, e realizaram panfletagens. Cada ação auxiliada por rádios de comunicação, apitos e um semáforo controlado pelos próprios alunos.
Como parte do projeto, os jovens participaram de oficinas de pintura de faixa de pedestre com o GCM José Eduardo e de construção do Semáforo com o GCM Áquila Brito. A atividade fez parte do Cronograma Pedagógico desenvolvido pela Coordenadora da Guarda Mirim GCM Érica Oliveira e o Instrutor GCM Alan Freitas.
De acordo com a coordenadora, o pelotão foi dividido em quatro patrulhas que orientaram os motoristas a não utilizar o celular enquanto dirige, não cruzar o sinal vermelho, dar preferência aos pedestres e respeitar a sinalização.
Aos pedestres foi orientado não atravessar fora da faixa, andar sempre pela calçada e olhar para os lados antes de atravessar a rua. Já, os ciclistas e motociclistas, foram orientados sobre a atenção no trânsito e o respeito às leis.
Os agentes mirins tiveram a oportunidade de não apenas repassar informações, mas também de aprender sobre as estratégias de abordagens mais eficazes e o respeito à disciplina civil. “Ensinar desde cedo sobre as regras e educação no trânsito é projetar o futuro com cidadãos mais esclarecidos e conscientes” destacou a coordenadora.
O evento contou com o apoio da Prefeitura de Itambé, através da Secretaria de Assistência Social, Secretaria de Administração, Guarda Municipal de Itambé e Assessoria de Comunicação.
