Nove estados registraram 531 mortes por razão de gênero

A cada 17 horas, uma mulher morreu em razão do gênero em 2024 em nove estados monitorados pela Rede de Observatórios da Segurança: Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Pará, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo. Os dados apontaram um total de 531 vítimas de feminicídios no ano passado. 
Em 75,3% dos casos, os crimes foram cometidos por pessoas próximas. Se considerados somente parceiros e ex-parceiros, o índice é de 70%.
O novo boletim Elas Vivem: um caminho de luta, divulgado nesta quinta-feira (13), foi produzido pela Rede de Observatórios da Segurança, uma iniciativa do Centro de Estudos de Segurança e Cidadania (CESeC) dedicada a acompanhar políticas públicas de segurança, fenômenos de violência e criminalidade em nove estados.
Segundo o estudo, a cada 24 horas ao menos 13 mulheres foram vítimas de violência em 2024 nos nove estados. Ao todo, foram registradas 4.181 mulheres vitimadas, representando um aumento de 12,4% em relação a 2023, quando o estado do Amazonas ainda não fazia parte deste monitoramento. O estado juntou-se à Rede em janeiro do ano seguinte.
“Continuamos chamando atenção, ano após ano, para um fenômeno muito maior do que essa amostragem, que foi normalizado pela sociedade e pelo poder público como apenas mais uma pauta social. E por isso os números seguem aumentando, enquanto as políticas de assistência estão sendo fragilizadas”, observa a organização.
“Apesar de importantes avanços ao longo dos anos com a institucionalização dos mecanismos de proteção às mulheres, como as Delegacias Especializadas de Atendimento à Mulher (DEAMs), a Lei Maria da Penha e a tipificação do feminicídio como crime – que deveriam estar mais consolidados e dotados de melhores condições de funcionamento –, a violência contra mulheres e o feminicídio continuam sendo uma realidade alarmante em nosso país”, disse a pesquisadora Edna Jatobá, que assina o principal texto desta edição do relatório.

Amazonas
O estado aparece pela primeira vez no monitoramento da Rede de Observatórios. Com 604 casos, fica atrás apenas de São Paulo e do Rio de Janeiro em números de violência, superando estados mais populosos, como Bahia e Pernambuco. Foram registrados 33 feminicídios no estado, 15 deles por parceiros ou ex-parceiros.
No Amazonas, 84,2% das vítimas de violência sexual em 2024 tinha de 0 a 17 anos. Além disso, 97,5% não tiveram identificação de raça/cor. O estado registrou dois casos de transfeminicídio.
Bahia
O estado apresentou redução de 30,2% nos eventos de violência em um ano (de 368 para 257). Em 73,9% dos casos as vítimas não tiveram raça ou cor identificada. Entre os 46 feminicídios, 34 não tiveram essa informação.
A capital baiana, Salvador, foi a que mais registrou eventos, com 68 no total. A Bahia também teve 96 mortes de mulheres (feminicídio e homicídio). Nenhum transfeminicídio foi registrado.
Ceará
Os 207 casos registrados fizeram de 2024 o pior período em sete anos com relação à violência contra mulheres no Ceará. Em comparação com 2023, o aumento foi de 21,1%. Os feminicídios também aumentaram: de 42 para 45.
A maioria dos casos ocorreu com mulheres entre 18 a 39 anos. Parceiros e ex-parceiros cometeram 56 das violências. O estado também registrou um caso de transfeminicídio.
Maranhão
O Maranhão cresceu quase 90% na violência de gênero. O estado passou de 195 para 365 eventos violentos, sendo 151 cometidos por parceiros e ex-parceiros. Foram 54 assassinatos, sendo que 31 delas tinham entre 18 e 39 anos.
Quase 100% dos crimes não tiveram identificadas raça e cor (93,7% das ocorrências).
Pará
O Pará também registrou um crescimento alarmante sobre os eventos de violência: alta de 73,2% (de 224 para 388). A motivação dos casos majoritariamente não teve registro (81,3%), mas 63,4% dos crimes foram cometidos por parceiros ou ex-parceiros.
As agressões registradas com uso de arma de fogo somaram 96 e com facas e objetos cortantes foram 95.
Pernambuco
O estado teve uma redução de 2,2% (de 319 para 312) nos casos de violência contra as mulheres. No entanto, Pernambuco ficou atrás apenas de São Paulo nas mortes de mulheres (feminicídio, transfeminicídio e homicídio), com 167 eventos.
Foi o segundo estado, entre os nove, com mais casos de feminicídio: 69 casos.
Piauí
O estado registrou crescimento de 17,8% nos crimes ligados a gênero (de 202 casos para 237). Teresina teve, disparadamente, o maior número de casos (101), seguida por Parnaíba (14). Foram 57 tentativas de feminicídios e 36 feminicídios.
A exemplo de outras regiões, o Piauí também teve problemas de transparência dos dados: 52,7% dos casos ficaram sem registro de motivações e 97,2% sem os marcadores social e étnico-racial, informações necessárias à compreensão do fenômeno e para o direcionamento de políticas públicas.
Rio de Janeiro
No Rio, os casos de violência de gênero cresceram de 621 para 633 em um ano – aumento de 1,9%. Do total, 197 crimes foram cometidos por parceiros ou ex-parceiros. Feminicídios e tentativas também registraram altos números: 63 e 261, respectivamente.
Foram registrados 103 casos de violência sexual/estupro. Do total de 64 eventos violentos, 13 foram cometidos por agentes da segurança pública.
São Paulo
São Paulo é a única região monitorada com mais de 1 mil eventos violentos contra mulheres em 2024. Foram 1.177 casos, um aumento de 12,4% em relação ao ano anterior.
A capital do estado teve os maiores números de casos: foram 149, seguida de São José do Rio Preto, com 66, e Sorocaba, com 42.
Entre as vítimas de violência com registro etário, 378 mulheres tinham de 18 a 39 anos – 422 não tiveram essa informação disponibilizada.
Foram registrados 144 feminicídios no estado, sendo 125 cometidos por parceiros ou ex-parceiros.
