Este ano a Feira Literária de Mucugê – Fligê apresenta o tema “Literatura: Rios e Matas da Narrativa”. O evento acontece entre os dias 13 e 17 de agosto, na cidade de Mucugê, na Chapada Diamantina.

A 8ª edição da Feira Literária de Mucugê – Fligê propõe, entre os dias 13 e 17 de agosto de 2025, uma imersão na literatura como espaço de denúncia, criação e resistência frente às crises ambientais que ameaçam o planeta. Sob o tema “Rios e Matas da Narrativa”, o evento destaca a natureza como personagem central das obras literárias, não apenas como cenário físico, mas como corpo social, cultural e simbólico.
A curadoria assinada por Ester Figueiredo convida o público a pensar o planeta Terra como uma entidade viva, atravessada por disputas, afetos e memórias. A literatura, ao absorver imagens do mundo vegetal, animal e natural, é também forma de expressar sentimentos, experiências e contradições humanas, articulando o sensível com o político.
Obras como Vidas Secas, de Graciliano Ramos, e os universos potentes de Jorge Amado, Clarice Lispector e do contemporâneo Manoel Herzog (presente em edições anteriores da Fligê) são evocadas como exemplos em que a aridez ou a fertilidade dos ambientes moldam personagens e narrativas. A partir dessa perspectiva, o evento reforça a crítica ao modelo hegemônico, que transforma o meio ambiente em recurso de exploração e compromete as subjetividades e a vida coletiva.
A Fligê 2025 inscreve a natureza como tema literário urgente, convocando autores, artistas, leitores e pensadores a refletirem sobre a pulsão entre vida e morte que atravessa o fazer literário e o tempo presente. A feira literária conta com programação para diversos públicos, infâncias, juventudes e adultos, nos formatos de mesas literárias, shows musicais, espetáculos teatrais, vivências artísticas, intervenções culturais e mercado literário para editoras e profissionais do setor.
Mucugê, com sua geografia inspiradora e história preservada, mais uma vez será palco da força das palavras e das vozes que ecoam por rios, matas e narrativas.
