No dia 07 de outubro, mais 4 novos acadêmicos serão empossados na Academia Conquistense de Letras (ACL), marcando um tempo histórico de renovação. Após mais de uma década sem abertura de editais para ocupação de novas cadeiras, a instituição, fundada em 1984, lançou recentemente um processo seletivo que resultou na eleição de 12 novos acadêmicos.
CALENDÁRIO DE POSSE EM TRÊS ETAPAS
A posse está sendo realizada de forma fracionada, em três etapas, com grupos de quatro membros. Sob a condução da presidente da ACL Elvarlinda da Rocha Jardim, os eventos de solenidade significam um marco de fortalecimento da literatura regional.Encerrando o calendário de posse dos novos acadêmicos, o terceiro grupo terá sua solenidade às 19 horas, do dia próximo dia 7 de outubro, no foyer do Centro de Cultura Camillo de Jesus Lima.
QUEM SÃO OS 4 NOVOS ACADÊMICOS EMPOSSADOS EM 7 DE OUTUBROMARILAINE GUADALAJARA, CADEIRA N.º 17, PATRONO: SOSÍGENES COSTA
Nascida em São Paulo, Marilaine Guadalajara é formada na Bahia, foi acolhida por Vitória da Conquista ainda menina, onde construiu sua trajetória profissional. Professora há quase 40 anos,atuou em salas de aula e na coordenação de importantes instituições em Conquista e São Paulo. Graduada em Letras e pós-graduada em Linguística pela UESB, é autora dos livros “Qanta Munani”(2013), “Ele me tirou de lá” (2021) e “Máscaras” (2023), além de outras publicações avulsas. Cristã, mãe e esposa, traz para a Academia a experiência de educadora e autora comprometida com a literatura e a vida comunitária. Para Marilaine Guadalajara fazer parte da Academia significa uma oportunidade de continuar servindo à literatura e à educação de Vitória da Conquista: “Para além da imortalidade que o acadêmico adquire ao ingressar na ACLetras, o meu mérito maior está na honra de me tornar mais uma a zelar pela imortalidade da Língua Portuguesa”.
PAWLO CIDADE, CADEIRA N.º 16, PATRONO: UBALDINO GUSMÃO FIGUEIRA
Escritor e produtor cultural com mais de 20 livros publicados, Pawlo Cidade é autor de obras que transitam entre a literatura e a crônica urbana, mantém o “Blog ‘Pawlo Cidade”’, espaço de difusão de suas produções literárias e reflexões culturais. Além de escritor, é gestor cultural, dramaturgo, pedagogo, educador ambiental, membro da Academia de Letras de Ilhéus; Ex-Secretário de Cultura de Ilhéus; ex-diretor das artes da Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia. ParaPawlo, estar na ACL é somar voz a um coro que valoriza a memória, a identidade e a força cultural de Vitória da Conquista. Entrar nesta Academia é reconhecer o valor coletivo da literatura comoalimento cultural. Ele pretende trazer para este espaço o diálogo entre o local e o nacional, narrativas que emergem do nosso chão, e contribuir para que Vitória da Conquista seja vista também como um polo literário forte. “A ACL é um campo fértil da literatura Conquistense. Se juntar a esta casa é se juntar à profundidade das suas ideias e de seus ideais”, afirma Pawlo.
RENATO SENNA CADEIRA N.º 19, PATRONO: EUCLIDES DANTAS
Renato Senna é jornalista, publicitário, professor de redação. Natural de Itapetinga, professor substituto de Comunicação Jornalística, UESB. Escritor, romancista, contista e cronista, com trabalhos reconhecidos no cenário literário, contribui para o fortalecimento da cultura conquistense por meio de suas publicações e participações em eventos culturais. Vários livros publicados e a publicar, dentre eles, “O pássaro labareda e a loucura de Benjamim de León Antuñez” e “Reclusas Noites de Inverno” (Prêmio Zélia Saldanha, 2006). Para Senna, é um orgulho fazer parte da ACL e poder dialogar com outros escritores, mantendo viva a chama da literatura em nossa cidade. “O escritor tem momentos de alegria, tristeza e até lágrimas; ao ser um dos escolhidos pela ACLetras, o que muito me honra, sinto que valeu a pena todo esforço e solidão, porque, na sua essência, escrever é um ato solitário”.

Professora, jornalista, publicitária e gestora cultural, Rossane Nascimento é graduada em Letras Vernáculas pela UESB, especialista em Literatura Brasileira, Marketing e Jornalismo. É produtora do compositor Elomar Figueira Mello e mestranda em Cultura. Tem experiência em comunicação, educação e literatura, com trabalhos que unem arte, palavra e ação. Biógrafa do ex-deputado e comunicador baiano, Carlos Alberto Simões (in memoriam), com o livro “Um menino de Asas com Visão de Águia”, a ser lançado, tem poemas inéditos e atualmente escreve notas biográficas de Elomar. Como gestora cultural, Rossane desenvolve projetos voltados à valorização da arte e da cultura regional. “Para mim, assumir esta cadeira é assumir o compromisso de contribuir com a conjunção entre educação, literatura e comunicação; é continuar colaborando para a valorização da nossa identidade, especialmente a nossa cultura sertânica, com foco no pertencimento. Espero que, com meu trabalho, eu possa fortalecer os espaços de leitura, de oficinas literárias e que novas vozes sejam celebradas”.

Para brindar a noite e encerrar com chave de ouro o calendário de posse de novos membros, a programação cultural inclui uma apresentação musical com duo piano e sax, tendo como convidados o saxofonista Sérgio Veiga e a pianista e maestrina Taís Carvalho. Equilibrando o erudito, o popular brasileiro e clássicos universais, juntos executarão peças da autoria de Tom Jobim, Ary Barroso, Luiz Gonzaga, Villa Lobos, dentre outros.
Os convidados também poderão apreciar solos para violão clássico, por João Omar e apresentação de canto poema, por Elomar Figueira Mello.
