Uma ação policial protagonizada por um Policial Militar lotado na 4ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar de Macaúbas tem causado indignação e repercussão negativa nas redes sociais e na comunidade local. Na noite do sábado (17), durante um evento no Distrito do Açude, zona rural do município, testemunhas registraram vídeos que mostram o Policial Militar sacando a arma e disparando para o alto, além de lançar uma bomba de efeito moral em meio a um tumulto generalizado.
De acordo com as imagens, o Policial Militar, ao intervir no tumulto generalizado, agrediu de forma violenta uma mulher que já estava imobilizada e caída ao chão. As cenas mostram socos, pontapés e puxões de cabelo, enquanto outros membros da Corporação presentes no local não intervieram, pelo contrário atuaram para impedir que populares pudessem interferir na defesa da vítima. A agressão ocorreu durante o “Esquenta da Cavalgada”, evento preparatório para a tradicional Cavalgada da Amizade, que aconteceu no domingo (18), organizado pela da vereadora Marcinha do Açude (Márcia da Silva Benda, do MDB), além de apoio de lideranças locais e do deputado estadual Manuel Azevedo Rocha (União Brasil).
As imagens viralizaram nas redes sociais, aumentando a revolta da população do Distrito do Açude, da sede municipal e de outras localidades de Macaúbas. Em resposta, lideranças comunitárias divulgaram uma Nota de Repúdio, na qual condenam veementemente a conduta do Policial Militar, apontando o uso de “força desproporcional, extrema violência e abuso de autoridade contra uma mulher da comunidade”. A Nota ressalta que a ação foi “totalmente injustificável, desnecessária e incompatível com o exercício constitucional da função Polícia Militar”, demonstrando, na avaliação das lideranças, o despreparo do agente público.
A comunidade expressou seu profundo desconforto, afirmando que a violência presenciada, além de violar direitos humanos, prejudica a confiança da sociedade nas Instituições de Segurança Pública. A Nota de Repúdio exige o imediato afastamento do Policial Militar envolvido, além de uma apuração rigorosa dos fatos e a aplicação das punições cabíveis conforme a legislação vigente.
Os moradores reforçam que a permanência do Policial na função representa uma ameaça à segurança e ao respeito à comunidade, concluindo que “não aceitaremos, em hipótese alguma, que continue exercendo suas atividades em Macaúbas, pois sua presença só traz insegurança, medo e injustiça”.
Resposta da Polícia Militar
Em Nota Oficial, a Polícia Militar da Bahia, através da 4ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar de Macaúbas informou que uma intervenção foi necessária para controlar o tumulto ocorrido durante o evento. Segundo o documento, os envolvidos foram conduzidos à Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil de Ibotirama para as providências legais cabíveis.
A Corporação também garantiu que os registros audiovisuais estão sendo analisados pelos setores responsáveis, com o objetivo de esclarecer as circunstâncias da ocorrência, os procedimentos adotados e a atuação dos Policiais Militares, seguindo os Protocolos Operacionais e a legislação vigente.
A Polícia Militar da Bahia reforçou, através da Nota, que seus integrantes atuam sempre pautados pelos princípios da legalidade, proporcionalidade e respeito aos direitos fundamentais, afirmando que a Instituição está comprometida com a investigação rigorosa do ocorrido e que tomará as medidas necessárias para assegurar a transparência e a responsabilização dos envolvidos.
