O Governo do Estado, através da Agência de Regulação de Serviços Públicos de Energia, Transportes e Comunicações da Bahia (Agerba), autarquia vinculada à Secretaria de Estado de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia, anunciou na quarta-feira (17), a suspensão de todas as linhas intermunicipais operadas pela Viação Novo Horizonte no Estado, devido a irregularidades identificadas na Empresa. Entre os problemas apontados estão a ausência de Certidões Negativas de Débitos Fiscais e o descumprimento de um Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta (TAC), formalizado em 2 de dezembro de 2024 que previa prazos para melhorias na qualidade dos serviços prestados, que segundo o Ministério Público Estadual e a Agência de Regulação de Serviços Públicos de Energia, Transportes e Comunicações da Bahia (Agerba), não foram cumpridos.

Como medida, a Agência Reguladora concedeu um prazo de 30 dias para que a Empresa interrompa suas operações, garantindo assim uma transição segura.
Durante esse período de suspensão, outras empresas credenciadas, que assinaram o Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta (TAC) com O Ministério Público Estadual e a Agerba, irão assumir emergencialmente as linhas, com o objetivo de assegurar a continuidade do transporte aos usuários. Para isso, a Agência abriu um chamamento público, convidando empresas interessadas a apresentarem propostas para operar as linhas temporariamente até a realização de uma Licitação definitiva.
As propostas devem ser enviadas até o dia 22 de julho de 2025. A operação emergencial das linhas terá duração prevista até 31 de maio de 2027, garantindo assim uma transição planejada enquanto o Processo de Licitação definitiva é realizado.
Essa medida reforça o compromisso da Agerba em assegurar a qualidade e a regularidade do transporte intermunicipal na Bahia, buscando sempre proteger os direitos dos usuários e promover a transparência no setor.

Eu vim de folga de campo de Luis Eduardo Magalhães para Salvador o ônibus quebrou demorou mas de 2 horas pra concertar aí rodou uns 15 km quebrou novamente aí teve que esperar mas 3 horas para a troca dos ônibus aí rodou mas um pouco estourou 2 pneus revermos que esperar o dia amanhecer pra trocar os pneus resumindo era pra chegar em salvador 7:00 da manhã cheguei era 16:00 não recomendo pra ninguém
