Campanha visa estimular produção familiar e agricultura sustentável

Voltada ao estímulo da comercialização de produtos orgânicos de pequenos produtores, o Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (Mapa) lançou hoje (8) a 16ª Campanha Anual de Promoção do Produto Orgânico. 
A ministra Tereza Cristina, titular da pasta, destacou as diferentes formas de distribuição e venda de produtos orgânicos frescos durante a pandemia de covid-19. A ministra afirmou, durante a abertura online da campanha, que boas ideias surgem durante momentos de crise. “Tem muita gente se unindo para oferecer esse tipo de serviço porque é também na hora da crise que surgem as boas ideias. É muito importante apoiarmos financeiramente esses empreendedores, pois estaremos garantindo, além de alimento saudável para nossas famílias, geração de renda para produtores que enfrentam com resiliência este momento difícil, e que vão continuar precisando do apoio do governo e da sociedade para se reerguer.”
Segundo nota divulgada pelo ministério, a campanha visa criar redes que facilitem a comercialização e incentivem a produção de alimentos baseados em agroecologia – uma forma de produção voltada aos agricultores familiares que busca geração de renda de forma sustentável. De acordo com o Mapa, atualmente há cerca de 21 mil produtores cadastrados no Cadastro Nacional de Produtores Orgânicos.
O Mapa oferecerá ainda, nos dias 8 e 9 de junho, seminários especiais voltados para o tema da produção e do consumo de orgânicos. Interessados em conseguir a certificação também receberão, durante as apresentações, orientações necessárias para participar da iniciativa. Os seminários serão feitos por lives no canal do ministério no YouTube.
A campanha também foi divulgada pelo presidente Jair Bolsonaro em redes sociais.
