A Comunidade de Jabuticaba, na zona rural de Ibiassucê, vive um momento histórico com a requalificação da Unidade de Beneficiamento de Mandioca. A iniciativa, realizada pelo Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), marca um novo capítulo na valorização da agricultura familiar e na preservação da cultura da Mandiocultura, tradição passada de geração em geração na região.
Estrutura moderna e sustentável
A nova Unidade foi equipada com tecnologia de ponta, incluindo Extratora de Fécula, Peneira Mecanizada, Prensa Hidráulica e Forno Industrial, além de placas de energia solar, que garantem maior eficiência energética e reforçam o compromisso com a sustentabilidade. Com capacidade para beneficiar até 1,5 tonelada de mandioca por dia, a estrutura promete elevar a qualidade dos produtos e ampliar o acesso a novos mercados.
Impacto direto na Comunidade
Para Letícia Moreira, presidente da Associação Comunitária local, a entrega da Agroindústria representa uma verdadeira revolução. “Agora vamos conseguir produzir mais, escoar os produtos com segurança e aumentar a renda dos nossos agricultores familiares. Viva a agricultura familiar!”, celebrou.
A agricultora Rita de Cássia compartilha do entusiasmo e destaca o valor simbólico da conquista. “Hoje é um dia de muita alegria! Essa obra tão aguardada é uma vitória de todos os produtores. A Mandiocultura é uma tradição que vem dos nossos avós. Essa Agroindústria vai impactar não só (Comunidade de) Jabuticaba, mas também Comunidades vizinhas. É uma conquista de todos.”
Investimento estratégico
Segundo Jeandro Ribeiro, Diretor-Presidente da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), a iniciativa faz parte de um esforço maior para fortalecer a agricultura familiar em toda a Bahia. “Nessa região, outras cinco Agroindústrias estão em operação. Este é um novo momento da Bahia. O Governo do Estado tem liderado esse processo, junto com instituições como a UFRB (Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia) , garantindo não apenas equipamentos, mas também gestão qualificada. São 400 Agroindústrias e mais de R$ 126 milhões investidos em gestão. Isso dinamiza a economia dos municípios e inclui todos os Biomas, do Sertão à Mata Atlântica, em torno da produção de alimentos saudáveis”.
