O Tribunal de Contas dos Municípios da Bahia, ao analisar as contas da Prefeitura Municipal de Licínio de Almeida, de responsabilidade do ex-prefeito Frederico – Dr. Fred – Vasconcellos Ferreira (PCdoB), referente ao exercício financeiro de 2023, identificou diversas irregularidades. No entanto, após avaliação detalhada, a Corte decidiu seguir o voto do relator do Processo no Colegiado, Conselheiro Nelson Vicente Portela Pellegrino, recomendando a aprovação das contas municipais, considerando que os apontamentos não comprometeram a gestão financeira e administrativa do município.
Segundo o relatório divulgado, as irregularidades apontadas incluem questões pontuais relacionadas a aspectos formais e de execução orçamentária, mas que não representam prejuízo ou risco significativo às finanças públicas.
