Em homenagem aos 63 anos de emancipação política e administrativa, Aracatu recebeu na tarde do sábado (12) uma visita especial do governador da Bahia, Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT). O encontro marcou a entrega de um significativo pacote de obras e a autorização para novos investimentos nas áreas de Educação, Segurança Pública, Infraestrutura Hídrica, Saúde, Agricultura Familiar e Esportes, totalizando mais de R$ 7 milhões em recursos. Este presente do Governo do Estado reforça a parceria com a gestão da prefeita Braulina Lima Silva (PV) e demonstra o compromisso de contribuir com o desenvolvimento social e econômico do município, que vive uma nova fase de crescimento.
Acompanhado da secretária de Estado da Educação, Rowenna dos Santos Brito, e do subsecretário de Estado da Segurança Pública, Marcel Ahringsmann de Oliveira, além do Comandante-Geral da Polícia Militar, Cel PM Antônio Carlos Silva Magalhães, e do Delegado Geral da Polícia Civil, André Augusto de Mendonça Viana, o governador iniciou sua agenda inaugurando a nova estrutura de Segurança Pública de Aracatu. Foram entregues as sedes da Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil, da estrutura da 20ª Coordenadoria Regional de Polícia Civil do Interior, e do 1º Destacamento do 4º Pelotão da Polícia Militar, vinculado à 79ª Companhia Independente de Política Militar sediada em Poções, localizadas no Bairro Santa Luiza. Os investimentos, superiores a R$ 2,9 milhões, foram financiados pelo Programa de Modernização das Estruturas da Segurança Pública.
As novas instalações apresentam espaços amplos e modernos, incluindo salas específicas para Delegado, Atendimento, Investigação, Reconhecimento e custódia na Delegacia Civil. O 1º Destacamento do 4º Pelotão da Polícia Militar conta com Salas de Comando, áreas de Instrução, Operacional e vestiários, garantindo maior eficiência e conforto às equipes de segurança.
Segundo Marcel Ahringsmann de Oliveira, subsecretário de Estado da Segurança Pública da Bahia, a modernização das estruturas reforça o compromisso do Governo do Estado de fortalecer a segurança no município e região, promovendo ações de prevenção e combate à criminalidade, além de elevar a sensação de segurança entre os moradores.
Na área da Educação, o governador, acompanhado pela secretária de Estado da Educação da Bahia, Rowenna dos Santos Brito, e pela prefeita Braulina Lima Silva, inaugurou as obras de ampliação do Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil São Pedro, localizado no Bairro Cândido Portinari. A intervenção, realizada em parceria entre o Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de Estado da Educação da Bahia, e a Prefeitura Municipal, acrescentou três novas salas de aula, um auditório e uma quadra poliesportiva ao espaço, que já atende 75 estudantes. O investimento na Unidade foi de aproximadamente R$ 1,9 milhão, garantindo melhores condições de Ensino para a comunidade local.
No setor de Infraestrutura Hídrica, Jerônimo Rodrigues inaugurou os Sistemas Simplificados de Abastecimento de Água nas localidades de Amargoso, Fazenda Bunitim e Fazenda Duas Irmãs, beneficiando cerca de 158 moradores. As obras, realizadas pela Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura Hídrica e Sanemaneto da Bahia, através da Companhia de Engenharia Hídrica da Bahia (Cerb), com investimentos de aproximadamente R$ 615 mil, garantem o acesso a água potável de forma segura e eficiente.
Na área da Saúde Pública, o Governo do Estado destinou uma ambulância e uma van para o município, garantindo atendimento mais ágil à população e fortalecendo o Programa de Tratamento Fora do Domicílio (TFD). Os investimentos fazem parte da estratégia do Governo do Estado de interiorização e aprimoramento dos serviços de Saúde Pública.
Outro destaque foi a entrega de equipamentos para a Agricultura Familiar. O Governo da Bahia, por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), entregou três tratores com implementos agrícolas, totalizando um investimento de R$ 732 mil. Os equipamentos irão beneficiar tanto a Administração Municipal quanto duas Associações de Pequenos Produtores Familiares, auxiliando na preparação do solo e aumentando a produtividade. Além disso, foram distribuídas 50 barracas de Feira Livre, padronizadas e voltadas à comercialização direta dos produtos, fortalecendo a economia local e a relação entre agricultores familiares e consumidores. A iniciativa contou com um investimento de R$ 66 mil.
Encerrando sua visita, o governador assinou autorizações para a pavimentação asfáltica de um trecho de 2 km de acesso à Rodovia BA-262, melhorias em diversas vias públicas da sede municipal, além de ações de limpeza de 50 aguadas (poços de armazenamento de água). Também foram autorizadas a doação de um Kit Odontológico e um Kit de Unidade Básica de Saúde ao município. E, finalmente, Jerônimo Rodrigues autorizou a Secretaria de Estado da Educação da Bahia a firmar convênio com a Prefeitura Municipal para a requalificação da Escola Municipal Herculano Rodrigues Vieira, no Povoado Lagoa do Sal, garantindo melhorias na estrutura e na qualidade do Ensino.
Essas ações reforçam o compromisso do Governo do Estado com o desenvolvimento de Aracatu, promovendo melhorias na infraestrutura, segurança, saúde, educação e economia local, e celebrando mais um ano de progresso e esperança para seus moradores.
Entre as lideranças políticas regionais que acopanharam a visita do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues à Aracatu, os Depuatdos Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (Federal) e José Raimundo Fontes (Estadual), ambos do PT baiano.
