O Sudoeste da Bahia encerra 2025 com importantes entregas de infraestrutura, mobilidade e segurança hídrica. No sábado (27), o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues inaugurou obras estratégicas em Vitória da Conquista e Presidente Jânio Quadros, historicamente defendidas pelos mandatos do deputado federal Waldenor Pereira e do deputado estadual Zé Raimundo.
Em Vitória da Conquista, foi entregue a nova Avenida Presidente Vargas, obra do Governo do Estado com investimento de R$ 16 milhões. A via foi duplicada e totalmente requalificada, com ciclofaixa, iluminação cênica, sinalização moderna, calçada tátil, faixas de pedestres e asfalto de qualidade, garantindo mais segurança e fluidez ao trânsito. A intervenção também melhorou a mobilidade urbana ao interligar a avenida à Avenida Brasil, no bairro Candeias, e ao eixo leste do anel viário, facilitando o acesso à BR-116 e à estrada de Barra do Choça.
Outra entrega importante foi a estrada que liga o distrito de Bate-Pé a Vitória da Conquista, passando por Pradoso, uma obra sonhada há décadas. Com investimento de R$ 26 milhões do Governo da Bahia, a nova estrada amplia a mobilidade, fortalece a economia local e melhora o acesso da população aos serviços de saúde, educação e comércio. Paralelo a pavimentação da rodovia, foi implantada uma nova adutora que duplicou a oferta de água para Bate-pé e região, com investimento de R$ 5 milhões.
A agenda no Sudoeste incluiu ainda a entrega do Sistema Integrado de Abastecimento de Água de Presidente Jânio Quadros, Maetinga, Caraíbas e Anagé, garantindo segurança hídrica para milhares de famílias da região, com investimento de R$ 100 milhões. lado do governador, Waldenor Pereira falou que as inaugurações representam conquistas construídas ao longo de anos de articulação política. “São obras que refletem uma luta antiga dos nossos mandatos, em parceria com Zé Raimundo, e que hoje se transformam em mais dignidade, desenvolvimento e qualidade de vida para o povo do Sudoeste baiano”, afirmou.
