Na última terça-feira (15), a Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista realizou uma Audiência Pública que reuniu representantes da comunidade espírita, autoridades locais e cidadãos interessados no tema. O evento, proposto pelo vereador Diogo Gomes de Azevedo Feitosa (UB), teve como principal objetivo, além de celebrar Dia Municipal do Espiritismo instituído pela Lei Municipal 2.139, de 1º de junho de 2017 e comemorado no dia 18 de abril, discutir a relevância da Doutrina Espírita na promoção de valores éticos, morais e sociais, além de abordar seu impacto no bem-estar da sociedade.
A sessão foi iniciada sob a condução do ex-vereador Valdemir Oliveira Dias (PT), responsável pela proposta que, após aprovação do Legislativo e sanção do então prefeito Herzem Gusmão Pereira (MDB), estabeleceu o Dia Municipal do Espiritismo, comemorado no dia 18 de abril. A iniciativa destacou a importância da Doutrina Espírita na sociedade, especialmente em Vitória da Conquista, além de reconhecer as contribuições fundamentais das obras de Allan Kardec, seu codificador. O ex-vereador petista ressaltou a relevância da Doutrina Espírita na promoção de valores como a solidariedade, a fraternidade e a paz social, destacando como os princípios espíritas têm contribuído para o fortalecimento da comunidade, incentivando ações de voluntariado e apoio aos necessitados, beneficiando diversas camadas da população e promovendo o bem-estar coletivo. O vereador enfatizou que a Doutrina Espírita não apenas oferece consolo espiritual, mas também orientações práticas para uma convivência harmoniosa e o desenvolvimento moral. “Cristo representa o amor e a inteligência que devemos cultivar”, resumiu o ex-vereador.
Por fim, o presidente da Mesa na Audiência Pública destacou que, embora tenha surgido há mais de 150 anos, os princípios espíritas continuam a ressoar na contemporaneidade, especialmente em tempos de crise ética e moral.
Palestras e Depoimentos
Diversas lideranças espíritas fizeram uso da palavra, cada um apresentou sua perspectiva sobre como a Doutrina Espírita pode contribuir para a formação do caráter e a promoção da paz, enfatizando o papel do Espiritismo na Educação Moral das crianças, ressaltando que os ensinamentos espíritas incentivam a empatia, a solidariedade e o respeito ao próximo.
Enéas Trindade, Diretor do Lar dos Idosos Nosso Lar, Instituição mantida pela União Espírita de Vitória da Conquista, destacou que Doutrina Espírita realmente enfatiza o papel transformador do amor e da inteligência no processo evolutivo do Espírito, inspirada nos ensinamentos de Jesus. Segundo ele, a Doutrina Espírita nos convida a criar vínculos afetivos profundos e a agir como agentes ativos de nossa própria evolução espiritual. O amor, ressaltou, segundo a Doutrina, é a força motriz que nos aproxima da perfeição e da união com Deus.
A mensagem do Diretor do Lar dos Idosos Nosso Lar, reflete essa essência, destacando que Cristo é o modelo de amor e inteligência que devemos desenvolver. Esse desenvolvimento, pontuou Enéas Trindade, não é apenas individual, mas também coletivo, promovendo harmonia e progresso moral em nossas relações e na sociedade como um todo. “Cristo é amor e inteligência que precisamos desenvolver”, concluiu.
Cleber Flores, Diretor da União Espírita de Vitória da Conquista, sublinhou que o lançamento de “O Livro dos Espíritos”, em 1857, foi realmente um marco histórico para o Espiritismo. Explicou que Allan Kardec, sob o pseudônimo de H. L. D. Rivail, compilou e organizou os ensinamentos dos Espíritos em uma obra que estabeleceu as bases científicas, filosóficas e morais da Doutrina Espírita. Segundo Cleber Flores, esse livro não apenas iniciou a Codificação Espírita, mas também transformou a forma como muitos compreendem a espiritualidade e a relação entre o mundo material e o espiritual. A mensagem de Cleber Flores destacou a profundidade dessa transformação, que continua a inspirar e orientar milhões de pessoas ao redor do mundo.
Palestrante
O palestrante Paulo de Tarso Araújo Souza destacou que Vitória da Conquista realmente tem sido um centro importante para a disseminação da Doutrina Espírita. Salientou que eventos como a Semana Espírita, organizados pela União Espírita de Vitória da Conquista, têm promovido reflexões profundas sobre temas como justiça divina, reencarnação e progresso moral. E que a comunidade local tem se destacado por sua organização e dedicação, aplicando princípios que incentivam o crescimento espiritual e a prática do bem.
Segundo o palestrante, a ideia de uma “trama da existência” pode estar relacionada ao conceito de interconexão entre os espíritos e suas ações, dentro das Leis de Causa e Efeito, que são fundamentais na filosofia espírita. Essa abordagem sistemática e ética, pontuou, reflete o compromisso da comunidade em criar um ambiente de aprendizado e evolução espiritual.
Paulo de Tarso ressaltou a importância de um constante aprimoramento nas Leis, destacando que, em determinado período, a sociedade vivenciou uma realidade em que a maioria era subjugada por uma minoria privilegiada. “Essa classe dominante instituía e impunha códigos de privilégio, relegando grande parte da população à subalternidade, sem acesso a direitos fundamentais”, afirmou. Para ele, as revoltas e transformações sociais foram cruciais para impulsionar o progresso rumo à pluralidade e à diversidade. Ele também mencionou o Código Penal da vida futura, presente nas obras de Allan Kardec, que se fundamenta na Lei de Ação e Reação, salientando que todas as ações humanas trazem consequências inevitáveis, em harmonia com as Leis Divinas.
Avaliação
A realização da Audiência Pública, considerada positiva por autoridades, representantes e lideranças tanto da comunidade espírita quanto de segmentos populares presentes, evidenciou o compromisso da atual gestão da Casa Legislativa em promover espaços de diálogo e reflexão sobre temas que afetam a vida das pessoas. Os participantes destacaram que o Espiritismo é uma Doutrina que oferece ensinamentos valiosos sobre a vida, moral e convivência social, e que o evento foi uma oportunidade de estimular essa discussão e aproximar a população dos valores defendidos pela Doutrina.
Todos concordaram que o apoio do Legislativo Municipal a iniciativas como essa é essencial para promover o respeito à diversidade religiosa e a convivência pacífica entre diferentes crenças. Ao reafirmar que a Casa Legislativa está aberta para ouvir a população e apoiar ações que promovam o bem-estar e a harmonia social, como o Espiritismo — que, assim como outras religiões, possui o poder de transformar vidas e fomentar a paz — a presidência da Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista reforça o compromisso em continuar incentivando esse tipo de diálogo.
