O resultado das propostas do Novo PAC Seleções 2025, voltado para obras de micro e macrodrenagem e contenção de encostas, foi anunciado na tarde desta quinta-feira (18), pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, durante cerimônia realizada em Brasília, com as presenças do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues, dos ministros da Casa Civil, Rui Costa; e das Cidades, Jader Filho. Para a Bahia, foram destinados R$ 1,3 bilhão para a realização de intervenções em 29 municípios.
“Quero parabenizar o presidente Lula por mais essa iniciativa do Novo PAC, que chega para transformar a vida de milhares de famílias baianas. Esse investimento de R$ 1,3 bilhão em obras de drenagem e contenção de encostas é uma demonstração de cuidado com o povo, de compromisso com a segurança das nossas cidades e de valorização da vida”, afirmou Jerônimo Rodrigues.
Na Bahia, além da capital, foram contemplados projetos inscritos nas cidades de Jacobina, Juazeiro, Santo Amaro, Camaçari, Camacan, Itabuna, Eunápolis, Ipiaú, Ilhéus, Ubaíra, Itororó, Mundo Novo, Candeias, Vitória da Conquista, Medeiros Neto, Dário Meira, Itapetinga, Gandu, Porto Seguro, Bom Jesus da Lapa, Pau Brasil, Santa Cruz Cabrália, Valença, Ibicaraí, Nazaré, Nilo Peçanha, Simões Filho e Teolândia.
Entre os empreendimentos selecionados, destacam-se obras de macrodrenagem em Camaçari, com aporte de R$ 240 milhões; e em Salvador, com total de R$ 176 milhões de investimentos. No interior do estado, Juazeiro receberá duas intervenções de R$ 60,7 milhões. Sobre os investimentos em contenção de encostas, já estão asseguradas 60 intervenções, também integradas ao Novo PAC.
O governador destacou a qualidade dos projetos inscritos e enviados pelos municípios baianos. “Esse resultado só foi possível porque os municípios apresentaram bons projetos, que mostraram a urgência dessas intervenções. Com esses recursos, vamos realizar obras estruturantes em dezenas de cidades, evitando enchentes, deslizamentos e garantindo mais tranquilidade para quem vive em áreas de risco”, completou o chefe do Executivo baiano.
O presidente Lula ressaltou que o anúncio faz parte do compromisso do Governo Federal de preservar vidas, com aplicação de recursos nos 26 estados e 235 municípios que, historicamente, sofrem com inundações e deslizamentos de terra. “São valores que precisam ser transformados em melhorias para os bairros e para a qualidade de vida das pessoas”. Os recursos destinados são do Orçamento Geral da União (OGU) e do Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço (FGTS).
