Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia realiza neste sábado (10) o Dia D de Mobilização Nacional Contra a Influenza, com ações voltadas a ampliar a cobertura vacinal em todo o Estado. Foram distribuídas aproximadamente três milhões de doses aos municípios baianos para essa iniciativa, que contará com Unidades de Saúde abertas em horário estendido, além de pontos estratégicos de vacinação em shoppings centers e Unidades de Drive-thru.
A secretária DE Estado da Saúde da Bahia, Roberta Silva de Carvalho Santana, destacou o esforço logístico empenhado para garantir que a vacina chegue aos públicos prioritários em toda a Bahia. “Nossa estratégia visa reduzir os casos graves de gripe, e a vacinação é fundamental nesse contexto. Os Postos de Saúde estarão abertos amanhã, e em Salvador, uma ação importante é o Drive-thru, que facilita o acesso das pessoas à imunização”, explicou a secretária.
Jussara Barreto, professora de Química nas redes privada e estadual da Bahia, aproveitou seu dia de folga para se vacinar no Drive-thru instalado no Centro de Convenções, em Salvador. Para ela, que se vacina anualmente, essa facilidade é um diferencial. “É muito bom! Vi ontem à noite no jornal que isso facilita a vida de muita gente. Vacinar-se é importante, sempre faço minha dose e incentivo minha filha, meus alunos. Vacinem-se, pois há muitas viroses circulando por aí”, incentivou.
A campanha tem como público-alvo aproximadamente 3,6 milhões de pessoas. Entre os grupos prioritários nesta fase estão gestantes, puérperas, povos indígenas, quilombolas, pessoas em situação de rua, profissionais da Saúde, professores, agentes das Forças de Segurança e Salvamento, Militares, pessoas com deficiência permanente, caminhoneiros, trabalhadores do transporte coletivo rodoviário, trabalhadores portuários, funcionários dos Correios, população privada de liberdade e profissionais do Sistema Prisional. Também fazem parte do público-alvo adolescentes e jovens de 12 a 21 anos que estejam cumprindo medidas socioeducativas, além de pessoas com doenças crônicas não transmissíveis ou condições clínicas especiais, independentemente da idade.
Liderança na imunização baiana
De acordo com a Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, mais de 672 mil doses de vacina contra a Influenza já foram aplicadas no Estado, posicionando a Bahia em quinto lugar no ranking nacional de imunizações contra a gripe. Mais de 80% dos municípios baianos aderiram à mobilização deste sábado.
Márcia São Pedro Leal Souza, Diretora de Vigilância Epidemiológica da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, destacou que a circulação da Influenza tem sido observada desde fevereiro. “De fevereiro até março, notamos um aumento nos casos de Rinovírus e Influenza. A vacinação ajuda a bloquear a transmissão desses vírus. Além disso, o Estado decidiu, como medida preventiva, não apenas vacinar contra a Influenza, mas também contra a Covid-19”, ressaltou.
Em Salvador, a vacinação ocorre no formato Drive-thru no Centro de Convenções, nesta sexta-feira (9) e sábado (10), a partir das 8h. A vacina contra a Influenza pode ser aplicada simultaneamente com outros imunizantes, como a da Covid-19. Para se vacinar, basta apresentar documento oficial com foto e Carteira de Vacinação. O público prioritário também deve portar documento comprobatório.
Vacinação contra Covid-19
Além da campanha contra a Influenza, o Governo da Bahia disponibiliza reforço da vacinação contra a Covid-19 em Postos fixos e pontos temporários. Maria São Pedro Leal Souza informou que, neste ano, houve uma redução de 37% nos casos de Covid-19 na Bahia em relação ao mesmo período de 2024, além de uma diminuição de 62% nas mortes.
“No entanto, essa redução não deve gerar descuido, pois os casos ainda ocorrem. É importante lembrar que, em 2025, 70% das Síndromes Respiratórias Graves tiveram como causa crianças e idosos acima de 60 anos”, alertou.
Podem se vacinar contra a Covid-19 crianças de 6 meses a 5 anos e 11 meses, pessoas com 60 anos ou mais, residentes em Instituições de Longa Permanência, Imunocomprometidas, indígenas, ribeirinhas, quilombolas, gestantes, puérperas, profissionais da Saúde, pessoas com deficiência permanente, com comorbidades, em situação de privação de liberdade, em situação de rua, além de adolescentes e jovens que estejam cumprindo medidas socioeducativas.
