A Prefeitura Municipal de Belo Campo, através da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, inaugurou na manhã do último dia 19, o Laboratório Municipal de Saúde Pública Onésimo da Silveira Soares (Lasposs). O novo equipamento, instalado nas proximidades do Hospital Municipal Vicente Vieira, passa a integrar a rede municipal de Saúde, ampliando a capacidade de diagnóstico e qualificando os serviços oferecidos à população.
A cerimônia, presidida pelo secretário municipal de Saúde Fábio Maia Prado, contou com a presença do prefeito Fidélis – Neto Fidelis – Pereira Reis (PSD), da Diretora Administrativa e do Diretor Clínico do Hospital Municipal Vicente Vieira, respectivamente Mirian Martins Ferraz Diego Ferraz Oliveira, além de membros do primeiro escalão do Governo Municipal, servidores da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, vereadores, familiares do homenageado Onésimo da Silveira Soares (in memoriam) e representantes de segmentos da sociedade civil.
Durante o evento, o prefeito Fidélis – Neto Fidelis – Pereira Reis (PSD) ressaltou a relevância do Laboratório para o fortalecimento das políticas públicas de Saúde no município. Segundo o gestor, a entrega do equipamento representa o compromisso da Administração Municipal com a melhoria contínua dos serviços e com a qualidade de vida da população.
Já o secretário municipal de Saúde, enfatizou que o Laboratório Municipal de Saúde Pública Onésimo da Silveira Soares (Lasposs) será estratégico para a Atenção Primária, dentro das responsabilidades do município no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Segundo ele, o Laboratório permitirá análises mais ágeis e eficientes, contribuindo para diagnósticos precisos e condutas médicas adequadas.
A implantação do equipamento, ressaltou o secretário municipal de Saúde, possibilitará que exames antes encaminhados para outros municípios sejam realizados em Belo Campo, reduzindo o tempo de espera e otimizando o atendimento. Além disso, gerará economia de recursos públicos ao diminuir custos com terceirização de análises laboratoriais.
Outro benefício apontado pelo prefeito e pelo secretário municipal de Saúde é a ampliação do acesso da população aos serviços, com expectativa de redução das filas de espera e a futura implantação de coletas itinerantes, especialmente voltadas para moradores da zona rural. “Com o Laboratório em pleno funcionamento, será possível ampliar a oferta de exames, reduzir a demanda reprimida e garantir mais comodidade aos usuários”, destacou o secretário.
