POR LUCIMAR ALMEIDA
Implantado em 2019, pelo Governo Eures Ribeiro pereira (PSD), o Projeto Viver Melhor revelou-se uma iniciativa importante para promover a qualidade de vida da população, notadamente a parcela mais vulnerável e que não dispõe de recursos para financiar atividades físicas, fundamentais para prevenir e controlar Diabetes Tipo 2, Hipertensão Arterial e outras condições relacionadas ao estilo de vida.
O Projeto, após um período de suspensão de quatro anos, durante a gestão do ex-prefeito Fábio Nunes Dias (PT), foi novamente retomado por orientação do prefeito Eures Ribeiro Pereira (PSD), trazendo de volta atividades físicas acompanhadas por profissionais especializados. Essa retomada tem permitido que diversas pessoas, de todas as faixas etárias, tenham acesso a programas de exercício físico supervisionado, contribuindo para o controle e melhoria da saúde, para socialização e melhoria da qualidade de vida.
O Projeto Viver Melhor, desenvolvido pela Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, busca incentivar a prática regular de atividades físicas, promover a conscientização sobre hábitos saudáveis e oferecer suporte técnico para o manejo de doenças crônicas. Os resultados já demonstram benefícios significativos, com muitos participantes relatando melhorias na condição física, controle da pressão arterial e níveis de glicose, além de maior bem-estar geral.
O prefeito destaca a importância do projeto que oferece atividades físicas gratuitas, com a supervisão de profissionais qualificados. Ele afirma que a iniciativa tem um impacto considerável na saúde e no bem-estar da população, incentivando a qualidade de vida e a prevenção de doenças relacionadas ao sedentarismo.
A revitalização do Projeto é uma excelente notícia para a Saúde Pública de Bom Jesus da Lapa, reforçando o compromisso do prefeito Eures Ribeiro de oferecer ações que promovam uma vida mais saudável e ativa para toda a comunidade.
