Ministério do Esporte recebe comitiva da Fifa para debater prerrogativas para a realização da competição mundial

O Brasil deu mais um passo na preparação para sediar a Copa do Mundo Feminina de Futebol de 2027. Nesta terça-feira (4/2), o ministro do Esporte, André Fufuca, recebeu uma comitiva da Federação Internacional de Futebol (Fifa) para tratar das garantias oficiais do país na realização do evento. O encontro ocorreu em Brasília e reuniu representantes de diversos ministérios e órgãos do governo federal.
O Ministério do Esporte é responsável por coordenar o Grupo de Trabalho Interministerial encarregado de estruturar as condições necessárias para o Brasil sediar a competição. Durante a reunião, Fufuca enfatizou o compromisso do governo em promover um evento histórico.
“O presidente Lula nos pediu que nada faltasse para a Copa do Mundo Feminina. Ele compreende a importância de grandes eventos para a imagem do país. Estamos recebendo grandes eventos como G20, a COP 30 e trabalhando para trazer os Jogos Pan-Americanos de 2031. Nosso desejo, e o do presidente, é fazer uma grande Copa, que será positiva para o país e para o povo brasileiro”, declarou o ministro.Comitê da Fifa se reúne com o ministro André Fufuca. Os representantes da Fifa participarão de reuniões técnicas ao longo desta terça e quarta-feira (5) para discutir detalhes como imigração, segurança, trabalho, tributos e tecnologia. Além disso, será debatida a minuta da Lei Geral da Copa do Mundo Feminina de 2027, que estabelecerá regras específicas para a realização do torneio no Brasil.
A secretária-executiva adjunta do Ministério do Esporte, Cynthia Lima, explicou que esta é a primeira visita da FIFA ao Brasil desde a escolha do país como sede da Copa. “Estamos iniciando a construção dos documentos jurídicos oficiais para garantir a realização do evento. Nosso trabalho agora é definir as garantias que serão incorporadas na Lei Geral da Copa, incluindo isenções fiscais e de vistos, além de outras exigências da Fifa”, afirmou.
O secretário Nacional do Futebol e Defesa do Torcedor, Athirson Mazolli, destacou que as reuniões são fundamentais para alinhar as obrigações do Brasil e garantir que o evento atenda aos padrões da Fifa. “Ter o Ministério do Esporte como ponto focal e fomentar uma das maiores competições do mundo é uma grande responsabilidade. Estamos aqui para discutir, tomar decisões e garantir que faremos a melhor Copa do Mundo Feminina”, disse.
Durante o encontro, a FIFA confirmou que, nas próximas semanas, anunciará as cidades-sede que receberão os jogos do torneio. E que os próximos meses serão decisivos para a definição dos detalhes estruturais e operacionais do torneio.
A reunião contou com a participação de representantes dos ministérios da Fazenda, do Trabalho e Emprego e das Relações Exteriores, além da Procuradoria-Geral da Fazenda Nacional e da Advocacia-Geral da União.
