Painéis solares em residências podem reduzir a conta de luz dos consumidores em até 90%

Consumidores com energia solar em residências lideram o uso da tecnologia em telhados e terrenos pequenos no Brasil e já investiram cerca de R$ 40 bilhões em seu próprio sistema de geração de energia elétrica renovável. Os painéis fotovoltaicos no topo das casas possuem 7,6 gigawatts (GW) de potência instalada, que representam 48% de toda a capacidade operacional da geração própria no País, segundo a Associação Brasileira de Energia Solar Fotovoltaica (ABSOLAR).
De acordo com o mapeamento da SolarEdge, fornecedora global de inversores fotovoltaicos e desenvolvedora da tecnologia Smart Energy, com base nos dados oficiais da ABSOLAR, o País tem atualmente mais de 1,5 milhão de sistemas solares fotovoltaicos conectados à rede, dos quais cerca de 78,7% vêm de residências, um total de 1,1 milhão de telhados solares.
Um dos principais motivos para o uso da energia solar nos domicílios é a redução do custo das residências com a energia elétrica, que pode chegar a uma queda de até 90% na conta de luz, aliviando assim o orçamento familiar e garantindo mais segurança do fornecimento de energia, além de eliminar o risco de novas bandeiras tarifárias.
É o caso de André Lima, morador de Gravataí, no Rio Grande do Sul, que instalou um sistema solar na residência e viu sua conta de luz despencar, passando de cerca de R$ 600 para aproximadamente R$ 100 por mês. “Eu estava pesquisando os tipos de sistema solar e vi um vídeo que me mostrou a tecnologia, inclusive um sistema com inversor com otimizador de SolarEdge”, comenta.
“Do primeiro mês que foi instalado, consegui a redução na conta de luz, além de poder utilizar energia limpa e barata, sem me preocupar com a fatura no final do mês. E, quebrando, ainda pode ajudar o meio ambiente”, acrescenta Lima.
Ainda de acordo com o mapeamento da SolarEdge, a tecnologia solar fotovoltaica já está presente em cerca de 5.500 municípios e em todos os estados brasileiros. Em número de sistemas instalados, as pequenas empresas dos setores de comércio e serviços (11,3%), consumidores rurais (8,0%), indústrias (1,7%) e governo (0,3%) aparecem no ranking, depois dos consumidores residenciais.
“Em pouco tempo, o Brasil pode assumir um papel de liderança no mercado global de energia solar, especialmente pelos investimentos dos consumidores, que são os mais afetados pelo alto custo das tarifas no país”, diz Juliano Pereira, country manager da SolarEdge no Brasil.
