De 2015 até 2023, foram vítimas de feminicídio no Brasil 10,6 mil mulheres, segundo levantamento do Fórum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública (FBSP). No ano passado, foram mortas 1,4 mil mulheres, de acordo com a pesquisa.
O feminicídio é uma qualificação do crime de homicídio doloso, quando há a intenção de matar. É o assassinato decorrente de violência contra a mulher, em razão da condição do sexo ou quando demonstrado desprezo pela condição de mulher. A lei que instituiu o dispositivo foi sancionada em março de 2015.
No ano passado, foram 1,46 mil vítimas desse tipo de crime no Brasil, o que representa uma taxa de 1,4 mortes para cada grupo de 100 mil mulheres. O número apresenta um crescimento de 1,6% em relação a 2022.
Mato Grosso registrou a maior taxa de feminicídios, com 2,5 mortes para cada grupo de 100 mil mulheres. Em números absolutos, foram 46 feminicídios no ano passado.
São Paulo tem o maior número absoluto de feminicídios, com 221 casos em 2023. A taxa do estado, entretanto, é menor do que a média nacional, com uma morte para cada grupo de 100 mil mulheres. Em comparação com 2022, foi registrada alta de 13,3% no número de feminicídios no estado.
O maior índice de crescimento de feminicídio foi registrado em Roraima, que passou de três para seis em 2023. A taxa no ano passado ficou em 1,9 mulheres para cada 100 mil.
No Distrito Federal, houve crescimento de 78,9% nos feminicídios de 2022 para 2023, chegando a 34 casos no ano passado. Com a alta, a taxa chegou a 2,3 mortes para cada 100 mil mulheres.
Em segundo lugar nas mais altas taxas de feminicídios estão os estados do Acre, Rondônia e Tocantins, com 2,4 mortes para cada 100 mil mulheres.
No Acre, houve crescimento de 11,1% de um ano para o outro, registrando dez feminicídios no ano passado. Em Rondônia houve queda de 20,8% nesse tipo de crime, com 19 casos em 2023. Enquanto Tocantins teve um aumento de 28,6%, com 18 mortes no ano passado.
