No Brasil, 13 Estados e o Distrito Federal estão em nível de alerta, de risco ou de alto risco para a incidência de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG). Nesses locais, a tendência é de crescimento dos casos, considerando o que foi observado nas últimas seis semanas. Em todo o país, houve ainda o aumento das hospitalizações por Influenza A, que é o vírus da gripe.
As informações são do último Boletim InfoGripe da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz), divulgado nesta sexta-feira (26). A análise refere-se ao período de 13 a 19 de abril.
De acordo com o Boletim, os Estados com as maiores incidências de SRAG são Acre, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pará, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Sergipe e São Paulo.
A alta geral de casos de SRAG, segundo o Boletim, tem sido alavancada, principalmente, pelo o aumento das hospitalizações de crianças pequenas por conta do Vírus Sincicial Respiratório (VSR) e, em menor volume, de crianças mais velhas e adolescentes até 14 anos com Rinovírus.
O Boletim também chama atenção para o aumento das hospitalizações por Influenza A no agregado nacional. O Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul apresenta um cenário mais crítico, com incidência muito alta de hospitalizações pela doença.
Nas quatro últimas Semanas Epidemiológicas, a prevalência entre os casos positivos de SRAG viral foi de 56,9% de Vírus Sincicial Respiratório, 25,5% de Rinovírus, 15,7% de Influenza A, 3,9% de SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) e 1% de Influenza B.
Entre as mortes registradas com testes positivos para as doenças respiratórias, 35,7% estavam com SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), 30,4% com Influenza A, 16,1% com Rinovírus, 10,1% com Vírus Sincicial Respiratório e 3,6%, Influenza B.
Orientações
A pesquisadora do Programa de Processamento Científico da Fiocruz e do InfoGripe Tatiana Portella ressalta que esse cenário serve como alerta para que a população intensifique as medidas de prevenção, combatendo o aumento de casos graves por alguns vírus de transmissão respiratória.
Portella reforça ainda a importância da vacinação contra a Influenza e indica o uso de máscaras em locais fechados ou com maior aglomeração de pessoas e dentro dos Postos de Saúde onde a situação for mais preocupante.
Para quem apresentar sintomas de Doenças Respiratórias, a orientação é adotar a chamada Etiqueta Respiratória que inclui cobrir o nariz e a boca com lenços de papel ao tossir ou espirrar; evitar abraços, aperto de mão e beijos; não compartilhar copos, utensílios e toalhas; e, lavar as mãos com frequência.
