No último dia 26 de abril, o município de Caatiba foi palco de uma das suas tradições mais aguardadas e celebradas: a Cavalgada Feminina “Belas e Brutas”. O evento, em sua sexta edição, consolidou-se como uma importante referência cultural e símbolo de empoderamento feminino na região.
A concentração teve início na manhã no centro da cidade, onde dezenas de mulheres amazonas, vestidas com trajes típicos e reforçadas por uma forte presença de apoio da comunidade, prepararam-se para a aventura. A cavalgada percorreu ruas e da via de acesso ao Sitio A&M, levando cores, sons e uma mensagem de força e independência.
Organizada por Aryana Oliveira, Luma Oliveira e Hellen Lima, a iniciativa visa valorizar a cultura local, promover o protagonismo feminino e fortalecer os laços de solidariedade entre as participantes. Segundo as organizadoras, o evento é uma oportunidade de mostrar que as mulheres podem desempenhar papéis tradicionais e, ao mesmo tempo, desafiar estereótipos, conquistando seu espaço na sociedade.
A participação foi expressiva, contando com a presença de amazonas de diversas idades e localidades, inclusive de municípios vizinhos. Além das cavaleiras, a população acompanhou, ao longo do percurso, comemorando a coragem e a beleza das mulheres que, com suas montarias, demonstraram força, determinação e orgulho de suas raízes culturais.
Ao término do percurso, no Sítio A&M, área de eventos na zona rural, ocorreu uma grande confraternização, embalada pelos shows de Graciane Sampaio, BM Paredão e Janá Locutora, marcada por um ambiente festivo, com bebidas e uma diversidade gastronômica, incluindo feijoada, churrasco, acarajé e outras iguarias típicas que já se tornaram tradição na celebração.
No final da tarde, as amazonas fizeram o percurso de volta à cidade e uma festa de encerramento foi realizada na Praça Clériston Andrade, com apresentações culturais e momentos de confraternização entre as amazonas e a população, reafirmando a importância do evento como uma celebração da cultura local e do empoderamento feminino, fortalecendo a identidade e o protagonismo das mulheres de Caatiba.
A “Belas e Brutas”, reforçam suas idealizadoras, Aryana Oliveira, Luma Oliveira e Hellen Lima, promete continuar sua tradição, inspirando novas gerações a valorizar suas raízes e a lutar por seus direitos, sempre com força, beleza e coragem.
