Na continuidade das ações de conscientização e combate à exploração sexual de crianças e adolescentes desenvolvidas ao longo deste mês de maio, a Prefeitura Municipal de Brumado, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, realizou no dia 27 uma palestra voltada à prevenção desse crime. O evento ocorreu na Sala de Treinamento da Prefeitura Municipal e contou com a presença de representantes do Governo Municipal, de movimentos sociais, organizações da sociedade civil, Igrejas, Comunidades Eclesiais de Base, Associações de Moradores, Redes de Conselhos de políticas públicas – Conselho Tutelar e Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente (Comdica) – além de órgãos de assistência social, direitos humanos e da Segurança Pública.
A palestra, tendo como tema “Caminhada pelos Direitos das Crianças e dos Adolescentes”, foi ministrada por Djalma Costa, Educador, fundador e Diretor do Centro de Defesa da Criança e do Adolescente de Interlagos/SP (Cedeca), uma Organização Não Governamental fundada em fevereiro de 1999, originada da experiência de defensores dos direitos humanos atuantes nas comunidades de Capela do Socorro e Paneleiros, na Zona Sul de São Paulo/SP. Durante a apresentação, Djalma Costa abordou temas como sinais de risco, formas de prevenção e a importância do fortalecimento da rede de proteção à criança e ao adolescente. Ele destacou a necessidade de criar um espaço de escuta ativa, troca de informações e orientações para identificar situações de risco, além de informar sobre canais de denúncia e a relevância de proteger os direitos infanto-juvenis. “Nosso objetivo é sensibilizar toda a sociedade para que fiquem atentos aos sinais de exploração e abuso, promovendo também o diálogo aberto com crianças e adolescentes sobre seus direitos”, afirmou Djalma Costa. Ele reforçou ainda a importância de uma rede integrada envolvendo famílias, Escolas e Órgãos de Proteção para garantir a segurança e o bem-estar das crianças e jovens.
Durante sua explanação, o Diretor do Cedeca apresentou dados nacionais que indicam que a cada hora, três crianças são vítimas de abuso no Brasil, muitas vezes sem que os casos sejam denunciados. Por isso, destacou que ações educativas, como a promovida em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de Brumado, através da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, são essenciais para fortalecer a Rede de Proteção e incentivar a denúncia.
A secretária municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, Assistente Social Magaly do Carmo Alves Rodrigues, reforçou que as ações realizadas durante o Maio Laranja representam o compromisso da Administração Municipal, seguindo orientação do prefeito Fabricio Abrantes Pires de Souza Oliveira (Avante), de promover estratégias de prevenção e proteção às crianças e adolescentes. Ela incentivou a denúncia de qualquer situação suspeita e destacou a importância de fortalecer os canais de atendimento às vítimas.
Magaly do Carmo Rodrigues também destacou que a prevenção depende da participação de toda a sociedade, acrescentando que para mais informações ou denúncias, a comunidade pode procurar a Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, através do Centro de Referência Especializado em Assistência Social (Creas) ou do Centro de Referência em Assistência Social (Cras); o Conselho Tutelar; o Conselho Municipal de Defesa da Criança e do Adolescente (Comdica); a Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil; o Núcleo de Atendimento Especializado à Mulher (Neam); o 24º Batalhão da Polícia Militar ou pelo Disque 100, do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública.
