Com o objetivo de discutir e alinhar procedimentos relacionados ao licenciamento ambiental na região, o Consórcio Intermunicipal do Vale do Rio Gavião (Civalerg), reuniu-se com representantes do Instituto do Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos (Inema), autarquia vinculada à Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente da Bahia, e da Promotoria de Justiça Regional Ambiental Ministério Público Estadual, no último dia 19, com objetivo de discutir e harmonizar procedimentos referentes ao Licenciamento Ambiental na região, promovendo uma maior colaboração entre as Instituições envolvidas e comprometendo-se, solidariamente, a assessorar os municípios que desejam realizar o Licenciamento Ambiental de forma correta.
De acordo com o Diretor Administrativo e Financeiro do Consórcio Intermunicipal do Vale do Rio Gavião (Civalerg), Roberto Hebert Meira Rocha, a proposta de colaboração formalizada garantirá que os municípios membros da Entidade possam emitir Licenças Ambientais de acordo com a legislação vigente, facilitando a implementação de políticas públicas e promovendo a Educação Ambiental. Segundo ele, essa ação é essencial para que os municípios possam desenvolver suas atividades de maneira sustentável, respeitando a legislação vigente e contribuindo para a preservação do meio ambiente.
Durante a reunião, foram debatidos mecanismos que buscam tornar os Processos de Licenciamento Ambiental mais eficientes e transparentes. Para os participantes do encontro, a integração das Instituições é um passo significativo para assegurar que as demandas ambientais sejam tratadas com seriedade, transparência e responsabilidade.
De acordo com o presidente do Consórcio Intermunicipal do Vale do Rio Gavião (Civalerg), prefeito de Encruzilhada Pedro – Dr. Pedrinho – Alves de Lacerda Sobrinho (PCdoB), com a parceira formalizada com o Instituto do Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos (Inema) e a Promotoria de Justiça Regional Ambiental Ministério Público Estadual, a Entidade reafirma seu compromisso em promover um desenvolvimento sustentável na região, estimulando os municípios a implementarem práticas que respeitem o meio ambiente e assegurem um futuro mais equilibrado para todos.
Também participaram do encontro, representando o Consórcio Intermunicipal do Vale do Rio Gavião (Civalerg), o Controlador Interno e os Técnicos do Programa de Gestão Compartilhada da Entidade, respectivamente Ednaldo Viana Santos, os Engenheiros Ambientais Adeid Rodrigues Santos Silva e Silas Meira Schettini e a Técnica Ambiental Christiane Rayana Teixeira; o Instituto do Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos (Inema), a Especialista em Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos Fabiana Carneiro Rebouças, e a Promotoria de Justiça Regional Ambiental Ministério Público Estadual pela Promotora de Justiça Regional Ambiental Karina Gomes Cherubini.
