A Companhia de Desenvolvimento dos Vales do São Francisco e do Parnaíba (Codevasf) equipou três municípios do Médio São Francisco baiano, área de atuação da 2ª Superintendência Regional, sediada em Bom Jesus da Lapa (BA), com um caminhão e uma miniusina móvel de asfalto para cada.
Os municípios beneficiados pela ação foram Baianópolis, Boquira e Riachão das Neves, que receberam um caminhão trucado para multidistribuidor de agregados, no valor unitário de R$ 249,8 mil, e uma miniusina móvel de asfalto, no valor unitário de R$ 330,8 mil. Ao todo, foram investidos recursos da ordem de R$ 1,7 milhão, oriundos do Orçamento Geral da União, destinados à Codevasf por meio de emendas parlamentares.
“Com esse tipo de ação, estamos cumprindo mais um grande papel da Codevasf para o desenvolvimento da nossa região. Entregando três usinas móveis de asfalto que vêm a somar e a garantir a melhoria da qualidade de vida da população dos três municípios beneficiados. Espero que seja de muito proveito e que torne Baianópolis, Boquira e Riachão das Neves em cidades modelo, porque, com certeza, esse equipamento vai contribuir, e muito”, afirma o superintendente regional da Codevasf em Bom Jesus da Lapa, Harley Nascimento.
O prefeito de Boquira, Luciano de Oliveira e Silva, reforça os benefícios do equipamento para o município: “Só temos a agradecer à Codevasf. Tenho certeza de que faremos um bom uso do equipamento. Toda a nossa população de Boquira almeja uma melhoria de qualidade de vida. Estamos com mais de 60% da sede cidade sem pavimentar e, agora, com a aquisição desse equipamento, temos certeza que virão dias melhores para nosso município”.
