Codevasf investe R$ 6 milhões em pavimentação no Projeto Formoso, em Bom Jesus da Lapa

A Companhia de Desenvolvimento dos Vales do São Francisco e do Parnaíba (Codevasf) está executando  obra de pavimentação no Projeto Formoso, em Bom Jesus da Lapa, com investimento de R$ 6 milhões. Os 7 km de asfalto estão sendo implantados em trechos estratégicos, ligando a principal ponte de acesso ao Perímetro de Irrigação até o Distrito de Irrigação Formoso e até a Vila de Moradores do Setor 4.

O Projeto Formoso é um dos motivos que colocam Bom Jesus da Lapa no topo da produção nacional de banana, gerando emprego e movimentando a economia regional. A pavimentação visa melhorar o escoamento da produção e a qualidade de vida dos moradores, reduzindo os custos com transporte e os danos causados pelas estradas de terra.

De acordo com o fiscal da obra, Albert Mattos, Engenheiro Civil da Codevasf lotado na 2ª Superintendência Regional, a intervenção trará benefícios diretos para a comunidade. “Essa obra irá beneficiar os produtores do Perímetro e todos os usuários da estrada, com maior conforto e segurança na trafegabilidade. Então, essa é mais uma ação da Codevasf contribuindo para o desenvolvimento regional”, destacou.

Execução das obras

A pavimentação já foi finalizada no Setor 33 e está em execução no Setor 4. A previsão é que todas as etapas das obras sejam finalizadas até junho de 2025. A expectativa é que, com a conclusão, o trajeto se torne mais seguro e eficiente, facilitando o acesso de trabalhadores, insumos agrícolas e escoamento da produção.

A iniciativa reforça o compromisso da Codevasf com o fortalecimento da agricultura irrigada e a melhoria da infraestrutura na região, garantindo mais competitividade aos produtores e melhor mobilidade para as comunidades locais.
