No último sábado, 21, em meio às comemorações juninas, Livramento de Nossa Senhora recebeu a visita do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), acompanhado pelo secretário de Estado das Relações Institucionais da Bahia, Adolpho Henrique Almeida Loyola, e pelo deputado Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (PT/BA). Recepcionados pela prefeita Joanina Batista Silva Morais Sampaio (Rede), que estava acompanhada do vice-prefeito Jânio Soares Lima (PSB), do secretário municipal de Cultura, Esporte e Turismo, Hugulino da Silva Lima Neto, e do ex-prefeito José Ricardo – Ricardinho – Assunção Ribeiro (Rede), o governador e o parlamentar petista prestigiaram a apresentação da Banda Matruz com Leite, uma das atrações da programação do São João 2025.
Livramento de Nossa Senhora foi um dos 280 municípios baianos que receberam apoio institucional do Governo do Estado, através das Secretarias de Estado do Turismo, da Segurança Pública, da Saúde e da Assistência Social e Igualdade Racial da Bahia, para realização dos festejos juninos e, como destacaram o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues e o Deputado Waldenor Pereira, reforçam o compromisso com a valorização das manifestações culturais de base popular.
Além de prestigiar os festejos juninos, a presença do Deputado Federal Waldenor Pereira em Livramento de Nossa Senhora serviu para que pudesse fazer contatos com lideranças locais e populares com objetivo de avaliar os desafios enfrentados pela comunidade e discutir investimentos em diversas áreas essenciais para o desenvolvimento do município e sua microrregião.
Durante o encontro com a prefeita Joanina Batista Silva Morais Sampaio (Rede), o vice-prefeito Jânio Soares Lima (PSB) e o secretário municipal de Cultura, Esporte e Turismo, Hugulino da Silva Lima Neto, e outras lideranças políticas do município, o Deputado Waldenor Pereira anunciou a destinação de R$ 3 milhões em Emendas Parlamentares que beneficiarão as áreas da Saúde, Infraestrutura, Assistência Social, Cultura e Agricultura Familiar. Segundo o deputado, os recursos visam melhorar a qualidade de vida da população e proporcionar oportunidades de desenvolvimento.
O governador Jerônimo Rodrigues destacou o trabalho que vem sendo desenvolvido pelo Deputado Federal Waldenor Pereira em Brasília, que tem contribuído para que importantes investimentos possam ser feitos para beneficiar a população. Ele ainda reforçou que os recursos anunciados pelo parlamentar são fundamentais para a promoção do desenvolvimento equilibrado do município de Livramento de Nossa Senhora.
Waldenor Pereira ressaltou, ao final da visita, a expectativa que os investimentos (R$ 3 milhões) contribuam para a continuidade do trabalho realizado pela prefeita Joanina Batista Silva Morais Sampaio (Rede) na construção de um futuro promissor e mais igualitário para todos os livramentenses.
