A Câmara de Vereadores de Vitória da Conquista estabeleceu como uma de suas principais metas para 2025 a atualização da Lei Orgânica do Município, um documento essencial que rege o funcionamento municipal de acordo com o Artigo 29 da Constituição Federal.
Na quarta-feira (16), ocorreu a primeira reunião da Comissão Especial dedicada à reforma e atualização da Lei Orgânica Municipal, no Plenário da Casa Legislativa. A Comissão é presidida pelo vereador Luís Carlos – Dudé – Batista de Oliveira (UB) e composta pelos vereadores Luciano Gomes Lisboa (PCdoB), Edivaldo Santos Ferreira Júnior (PSDB), Fernando – Jacaré – Vasconcelos Silva (PT) e Alexandre – Xandó – Garcia Araújo (PT). A reunião também contou com a presença do advogado Matheus Souza Lima, Especialista em Reforma e Atualização de Regimentos Internos de Câmaras de Vereadores e da Lei Orgânica Municipal, atuando como Consultor Jurídico no processo.
Esse encontro marcou oficialmente o início dos trabalhos voltados à revisão e modernização da Lei Orgânica Municipal, garantindo que as propostas estejam de acordo com os princípios da Constituição Federal e do Estado. O objetivo é modernizar a legislação básica do município, ajustando-a às mudanças na Constituição Federal e Estadual e nas demandas atuais da população, buscando garantir uma gestão pública mais inclusiva, transparente e eficiente.
Durante a reunião, os membros da Comissão analisaram sugestões de modificações apresentadas pelo Consultor responsável, Advogado Matheus Souza Lima. Ele destacou que a reunião teve como propósito a apresentação do Anteprojeto de Emenda à Lei Orgânica Municipal, focando nas alterações necessárias para adequar a legislação às realidades contemporâneas e às novas normas federais e estaduais. “Discutimos a primeira parte do Anteprojeto e recebemos diversas sugestões para novos artigos a serem incluídos. Foi um momento importante tanto para apresentar tais propostas quanto para ouvir os vereadores sobre temas relevantes para a sociedade atual e a realidade local”, esclareceu Matheus Souza Lima.
O presidente da Comissão, vereador Luís Carlos – Dudé – Batista de Oliveira (UB), sublinhou a importância do trabalho de revisão da Lei Orgânica Municipal, enfatizando os avanços que a atualização pode trazer para o desenvolvimento do município e a proteção dos direitos dos cidadãos. Ele reiterou que essa revisão é crucial para modernizar o sistema jurídico municipal, alinhando-o às demandas atuais e às diretrizes nacionais e estaduais, o que facilitará a implementação de políticas públicas eficazes e fortalecerá a autonomia do município. Além disso, destacou o papel do presidente do Legislativo Municipal, vereador Ivan Cordeiro da Silva Filho (PL), no incentivo à modernização da Casa, agradecendo pela confiança em presidir essa importante Comissão. “A Lei Orgânica está desatualizada e é necessário que isso seja corrigido o quanto antes. Agradeço ao presidente Ivan Cordeiro pela oportunidade de liderar esta Comissão, que desempenha um papel vital na transformação do nosso município”, acrescentou Luís Carlos Dudé.
Espera-se que esse processo de revisão seja finalizado nos próximos meses, promovendo uma gestão mais moderna e alinhada às necessidades da população de Vitória da Conquista. A iniciativa reafirma o compromisso do Legislativo local com a transparência e o fortalecimento das Instituições municipais em busca de um futuro mais democrático e eficiente.
