Medida reflete condições favoráveis de geração de usinas hidrelétricas

A Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) decidiu manter a bandeira tarifária verde em março, o que significa que não haverá cobrança adicional nas contas de energia. Segundo a agência, a medida reflete as condições favoráveis de geração de energia no país.
A bandeira tarifária permanece verde desde dezembro de 2024.
“Com o período chuvoso, os níveis dos reservatórios melhoraram, assim como as condições de geração das usinas hidrelétricas. Dessa forma, o acionamento de usinas termelétricas, que possuem energia mais cara, torna-se menos necessário”, explica a Aneel.
Bandeiras tarifárias
Criado em 2015 pela Aneel, o sistema de bandeiras tarifárias reflete os custos variáveis da geração de energia elétrica. Divididas em níveis, as bandeiras indicam quanto está custando para o Sistema Interligado Nacional gerar a energia usada nas casas, em estabelecimentos comerciais e nas indústrias.
Quando a conta de luz é calculada pela bandeira verde, não há nenhum acréscimo. Quando são aplicadas as bandeiras vermelha ou amarela, a conta sofre acréscimos a cada 100 quilowatts-hora (kWh) consumidos.
