A medida vale para dívidas que não tenham ultrapassado R$ 5 milhões

Os Correios relançaram o programa de renegociação de dívidas contraídas com a empresa, para pessoas físicas ou jurídicas. Podem aderir ao Programa de Realização de Acordos da Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos (Praect), também conhecido como Refis Postal, aqueles que têm dívidas já judicializadas com os Correios, cujos valores até 6 de abril de 2017 não tenham ultrapassado R$ 5 milhões.
De acordo com a estatal, entre as vantagens do Praect, estão o abatimento de parte dos débitos e a possibilidade de parcelamento, com redução dos juros. Aqueles que optarem pelo pagamento da dívida em apenas uma vez terão o desconto de 90% dos juros de mora. O pagamento também poderá ser parcelado em até 60 vezes, com desconto de 50% nos juros, ou em até 120 vezes, com redução de 25%.
A adesão pode ser feita até o dia 4 de dezembro, 90 dias a contar da publicação do Praect no Diário Oficial da União, do dia 6 de setembro. O prazo poderá ser prorrogado por igual período, a critério dos Correios.
A primeira etapa do programa, lançada em dezembro de 2017, recuperou apenas 1,15% do total das dívidas referentes aos 11 mil processos em andamento, que somam quase R$ 1,2 bilhão. Segundo os Correios, a estatal é a primeira empresa pública a lançar um programa desse tipo, inspirado no programa de parcelamento de tributos do governo federal.
Os Correios alertam ainda que não regularizar pendências administrativas leva à inclusão do nome do contribuinte ou da empresa no Cadastro Informativo de Créditos não Quitados do Setor Público Federal (CADIN), o que gera consequências negativas e impeditivos junto a esferas de governo.
No caso de empresas públicas ou prefeituras, elas deixam de receber repasse de verbas do governo federal. Já empresas fornecedoras ficam impedidas de participar de processos licitatórios. E tanto pessoas físicas quanto jurídicas não conseguem realizar empréstimo em bancos públicos.
Para aderir ao Praect, é necessário protocolar o Termo de Adesão e Instrumento de Acordo na sede regional dos Correios do juízo onde tramita o processo.
