De 1º de janeiro a 15 de fevereiro deste ano, foram registrados 108.410 novos casos da doença, ante 71.479 computados nas últimas sete semanas epidemiológicas de 2024.

O Brasil registrou 108.410 novos casos de Covid-19 em 2025, considerando o período de 1° de janeiro a 15 de fevereiro. O intervalo corresponde às sete primeiras semanas epidemiológicas (SE) deste ano e representa uma alta de 52% ante os 71.479 registrados nas últimas sete semanas epidemiológicas de 2024, que engloba o período entre os dias 8 de novembro e 28 de dezembro. Os dados são do painel do Painel da Covid-19 no Brasil, do Ministério da Saúde.
Já em relação ao número de óbitos, houve um aumento de 5,79% na comparação entre os dois períodos. Nas primeiras sete semanas deste ano foram 511 óbitos em comparação a 483 mortes por Covid-19 nas sete últimas semanas de 2024.
Além disso, apenas na SE 7/2023 foram notificados 13.709 casos da doença e 82 óbitos. O Ceará liderou nesse período, até 15/02, com 3.567 pessoas positivas para Covid-19, seguido de Minas Gerais que teve 2.939 casos novos. Já Mato Grosso aparece em terceiro lugar no ranking, com 1.452 pessoas confirmadas com a doença. Estas são as únicas UFs com mais de mil casos novos no período.
Acre, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Paraíba, Rondônia, São Paulo e Tocantins não registraram novos casos no painel para atualização do Ministério da Saúde. Já Amapá atualizou com 22 mortes. Confira o número de casos novos por UF no período de 09/02 a 15/02:

InfoGripe: situação nacional
O Boletim InfoGripe, da FioCruz, divulgado na última quinta-feira (27), segue apresentando sinal de aumento de casos de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG) entre crianças e adolescentes de até 14 anos, especialmente nas regiões Norte, Centro-Oeste e no estado de Sergipe.
Em contrapartida, a análise aponta tendência de estabilidade ou oscilação no número de novos casos de Covid-19, que atinge os mais idosos, principalmente em alguns estados das regiões Norte, Nordeste e em Mato Grosso.
Segundo o Boletim, este ano já foram notificados 13.551 casos de SRAG, sendo 4.560 (33,7%) com resultado laboratorial positivo para algum vírus respiratório, 6.188 (45,7%) negativos e ao menos 1.828 (13,5%) aguardando resultado laboratorial.
Entre os casos positivos, 48,7% foram de Sars-CoV-2, ou seja, de Covid-19.
