O Boletim InfoGripe da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz), divulgado hoje (1º), mostra que a covid-19 responde por 59,6% dos casos de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda (SRAG) com identificação viral nas últimas quatro semanas. A porcentagem aumentou em relação à divulgação da semana passada, quando a covid-19 representava 48% dos casos positivos. O boletim mostra que a tendência é de aumento.
De acordo com a Fiocruz, entre os casos de SRAG que evoluíram para morte, 91,1% dos que tinham identificação viral testaram positivo para a covid-19. O boletim considera os dados inseridos no Sistema de Informação de Vigilância Epidemiológica da Gripe (Sivep-Gripe) até 30 de maio e é referente ao período de 22 a 28 de maio. A estimativa é de 7,2 mil casos de SRAG nesse período.
O boletim mostra que a curva nacional de casos continua com indícios de crescimento tanto nas tendências de longo prazo, consideradas as últimas seis semanas, quando no curto prazo, consideradas as últimas três semanas.
Nas quatro últimas semanas epidemiológicas, entre a população em geral, a prevalência entre os casos com resultado positivo para vírus respiratórios foi de influenza A (4%); influenza B (0,4%); vírus sincicial respiratório (25,1%); e Sars-CoV-2, vírus responsável pela covid-19 (59,6%). Entre os óbitos, a presença de vírus entre os positivos foi de influenza A (1,6%); vírus sincicial respiratório (4,1%) e Sars-CoV-2 (91,1%).
Consideradas apenas as crianças de até 4 anos de idade, foi verificado o predomínio do vírus sincicial respiratório, seguido dos casos de Sars-CoV-2, rinovírus e metapneumovírus. Nesse grupo, os casos associados à covid-19 nas últimas quatro semanas ultrapassaram os registros associados ao rinovírus. Segundo o boletim, essa é uma alteração decorrente do aumento de casos de covid-19 na população em geral.
De acordo com o boletim, apenas sete das 27 unidades federativas não apresentam sinal de crescimento na tendência de longo prazo. Os estados que apresentam sinal de estabilidade são Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Maranhão, Piauí, Pernambuco, Sergipe e Espírito Santo.
No ano epidemiológico 2022, segundo a Fiocruz, foram notificados 147.683 casos de SRAG, sendo 72.197 (48,9%) com resultado laboratorial positivo para algum vírus respiratório, 53.782 (36,4%) negativos, e ao menos 13.916 (9,4%) aguardam resultado laboratorial. Dentre os casos positivos do ano corrente, 5,2% são Influenza A, 0,1% Influenza B, 8,8% vírus sincicial respiratório e 83,2% Sars-CoV-2 (covid-19).
