Crianças deverão ser vacinadas com doses da Coronavac

Seis capitais iniciaram hoje (18) a vacinação contra covid-19 em crianças de 3 a 5 anos de idade. São Luis (MA), Manaus (AM), Salvador (BA), Fortaleza (CE), Belém (PA) e Boa Vista (RR) já estão vacinando crianças conforme a recomendação do Ministério da Saúde e a autorização da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa), ambas divulgadas na semana passada. A cidade do Rio de Janeiro foi a primeira a dar início à vacinação de parte deste grupo na última sexta-feira (15).
Até então, a imunização contra covid-19 só podia ser feita em crianças a partir de 5 anos. Crianças de 3 a 5 anos deverão ser imunizadas com a Coronavac.
Na capital amazonense, 37 pontos oferecem a vacina para as crianças. Na área rural, ribeirinha e terrestre, a imunização segue o calendário de visitas dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde (ACSs) e das Unidades Básicas de Saúde Fluvial (UBSF) para cada localidade.
“Estamos felizes em dar mais esse passo, ampliando a faixa etária das crianças que podem ser vacinadas e protegidas contra o coronavírus”, disse o prefeito de Manaus, David Almeida.
Já em Fortaleza, a vacinação infantil está sendo realizada nos shoppings Central, Iguatemi, RioMar Fortaleza e RioMar Kennedy, Sesi Parangaba, drive-thru do Centro de Eventos e postos de saúde que têm sala de vacinação Covid-19. É importante levar o documento de identificação da criança, o número do Cartão Nacional de Saúde e também uma identificação com foto do acompanhante da criança.
Em Boa Vista, crianças de 3 a 5 anos anos podem se imunizar em 13 unidades básicas de saúde, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h30 às 17h. Em Salvador, são 37 postos de saúde espalhados por todas as regiões da cidade, funcionando de 8h às 16h.
O Rio de Janeiro iniciou na semana passada a vacinação de crianças a partir de 4 anos. A vacinação de crianças de 3 anos terá início na próxima quarta-feira (20).
Distrito Federal
O Distrito Federal iniciou na tarde de hoje a distribuição de todo o estoque de Coronavac para os mais de 70 pontos de vacinação infantil, mas ainda não confirmou o início efetivo da imunização para o novo público alvo.
“No momento, a SES [Secretaria Estadual de Saúde do DF] aguarda a nota técnica do governo federal com as instruções sobre a vacinação do novo grupo (dosagem; novos envios de lotes; prazos de reforço; entre outros)”, informou a secretaria à reportagem.
