Os resultados da produção animal no 1º trimestre de 2023 apontam que o abate de frangos subiu 4,9%, o de bovinos aumentou 4,8% e o de suínos teve alta de 3,2% ante o mesmo período de 2022. Frente ao 4º trimestre de 2022, o abate de frangos cresceu 2,3%, o de bovinos recuou 2,7% e o de suínos teve alta de 1,2%.
Mato Grosso lidera o abate de bovinos, seguido por Mato Grosso do Sul. Já Santa Catarina lidera a produção suína, seguida por Paraná e Rio Grande do Sul. A produção suína experimentou um recorde na série histórica iniciada em 1997.
Este recorde é experimentado também no abate de frangos. Para esta commodity agrícola, o Paraná lidera amplamente a produção nacional, em 34,1%.
A aquisição de leite foi de 5,88 bilhões de litros, com queda de 1,2% ante o 1º trimestre de 2022 e recuo de 6,9% contra o trimestre imediatamente anterior.
Minas Gerais lidera o ranking de aquisição de leite, com 24,4% da produção nacional. O Estado é seguido por Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina.
Já a aquisição de peças de couro pelos curtumes teve alta de 6,8% frente ao 1º tri de 2022 e queda de 0,5% ante o 4° tri de 2022, somando 7,75 milhões de peças. Mato Grosso lidera a relação de Unidades da Federação que recebem peças de couro cru para processamento.
Foram produzidos 1,02 bilhão de dúzias de ovos de galinha no 1º tri deste ano, alta de 2,6% na comparação anual e queda de 2,8% em relação ao 4º tri de 2022. A produção de ovos de galinha atinge recorde com estes valores e o Estado de São Paulo se mantém como maior produtor brasileiro.
