O presidente da República, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, assinou, nesta quarta-feira (18), decreto que fortalece a cadeia produtiva do leite no Brasil. O texto, que será publicado nesta quarta, em edição extra do Diário Oficial da União, altera o Decreto nº 8.533/2015, modificando as condições para a utilização dos créditos presumidos de PIS/Pasep e de Contribuição para o Financiamento da Seguridade Social – Cofins concedidos no âmbito do Programa Mais Leite Saudável.
O ato, que entra em vigor em 90 dias, tem por objetivo fomentar a produção de leite in natura e promover o desenvolvimento da cadeia produtiva local. A medida não ocasiona renúncia de receita tributária.
Por meio das redes sociais, o presidente afirmou que a medida ajuda os produtores de leite brasileiros. “Muitas famílias de agricultores familiares no Brasil, que vivem da produção de leite in natura, devem ser beneficiadas”, escreveu.
