Na sexta-feira (13), o deputado federal Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (PT-BA) esteve na sede da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), vinculada à Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, para oficializar a entrega de um trator agrícola com implementos ao Centro Comunitário de Lagoa Grande, localizado na zona rural de Lagoa Real.
O equipamento, adquirido pelo Governo do Estado por meio de emendas parlamentares do deputado, foi repassado ao ex-prefeito Cláudio Santos de Azevedo, conhecido como Tim de Nilo (MDB), e ao ex-vereador Zenildo de Jesus Costa, o Zé de Abel (União Brasil).
Durante a cerimônia, Waldenor Pereira reafirmou a parceria histórica que mantém com Lagoa Real, em conjunto com o deputado estadual José Raimundo Fontes (PT). Segundo o parlamentar, os mandatos já destinaram recursos para obras de infraestrutura, como passagens molhadas, além de investimentos em educação e esporte, com a construção de quadras poliesportivas, e apoio à agricultura familiar por meio da entrega de equipamentos.
O encontro também serviu para anunciar novos compromissos. Waldenor garantiu a destinação de recursos para a compra de um veículo destinado ao Centro Comunitário de Lagoa Grande, a construção de um Centro de Comercialização de Animais e a execução de duas novas passagens molhadas na zona rural do município.
