O Deputado Federal Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (PT/BA) participou, na última quarta-feira (23), de uma reunião em Brasília, na sede da Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT). Essa autarquia federal, vinculada ao Ministério dos Transportes, é responsável pela normatização e supervisão das operações relacionadas à exploração da infraestrutura ferroviária e rodoviária federal, assim como pela prestação de serviços de transporte terrestre. O principal objetivo do encontro foi discutir a organização de uma audiência pública que ocorrerá em Vitória da Conquista, como uma etapa preparatória para a Licitação da nova concessão dos 390 quilômetros do trecho Sul da Rodovia BR-116, que inclui a extensão entre Feira de Santana e a Divisa da Bahia com Minas Gerais.
A reunião foi liderada pelo Coordenador-Geral de Relações Parlamentares da ANTT, Emmanuel Valverde Rios Nogueira, e contou com a presença de Nilton César de Souza, Gerente Substituto de Estudos e Projetos de Rodovia, e Bruna Araújo Medeiros Santos, Engenheira da Superintendência de Concessão da Infraestrutura da Agência.
De acordo com o parlamentar petista, a audiência pública está agendada para o dia 8 de maio e reunirá representantes da sociedade civil, gestores, empresários, lideranças políticas e a população da região, oferecendo a eles a oportunidade de opinar sobre o Projeto Preliminar e as responsabilidades que a nova concessionária vencedora do certame deverá assumir.
Ainda segundo o Deputado Waldenor Pereira, “a realização de audiências públicas é uma exigência do Processo Licitatório de Obras de Grande Porte, especialmente quando envolvem empresas internacionais. Por isso, essa etapa é fundamental antes da concessão. Na Bahia, teremos três audiências: em Salvador, Feira de Santana e Vitória da Conquista. Estamos à disposição do Ministério dos Transportes e da ANTT para ajudar na mobilização regional, divulgação e organização do evento em Vitória da Conquista”. O parlamentar destacou também as intervenções que deveriam ter sido feitas pela Via Bahia (empresa que teve a concessão revogada) e que deverão estar na pauta da futura concessionária, para melhoria das condições, fluidez e segurança do tráfego, sobretudo a duplicação da pista e construção de viadutos, que no trecho que abrange a região Sudoeste e especificamente em Vitória da Conquista, têm sido bandeiras do seu mandato.
Waldenor Pereira lembrou que entre as obrigações previstas no Projeto Preliminar para a futura concessionária estão a duplicação dos 390 quilômetros da Rodovia, no trecho entre Feira de Santana e a Divisa da Bahia com Minas Gerais, além da construção de cinco viadutos na região de Vitória da Conquista, bem como melhorias e qualificações na estrutura da estrada.
