O deputado federal Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (PT-BA) esteve reunido no último dia 15 com a secretária de Estado da Educação da Bahia, Rowena Santos Brito, e com a Assessora de Relações Institucionais, Luanda Machado, para acompanhar o andamento de projetos voltados à construção, reforma e ampliação de Unidades Escolares em diversos municípios baianos.
Durante o encontro, a titular da pasta informou que os Colégios Estaduais situados nos Distritos de Lagoa Grande e Quaraçu, em Cândido Sales, devem ter seus Processos Licitatórios iniciados até o dia 15 de novembro. Já a reforma do Colégio Estadual Marieta Pereira dos Santos, em Tremedal, está prevista para entrar em fase de licitação até 10 de janeiro de 2026.
Outro destaque da reunião foi o projeto de construção de uma nova Escola no Distrito de Vila do Café, em Encruzilhada, dentro do padrão de modernização da rede estadual. O Edital de Licitação também está programado para ser publicado até janeiro de 2026.
Em relação a Vitória da Conquista, Waldenor Pereira buscou atualizações sobre obras em andamento, como o Complexo Educacional Abdias Menezes, o Centro Integrado de Educação Básica (Cieb), além da construção de Colégios de Campo nos Distritos de Inhobim e no Assentamento de Caldeirão. Também estão em fase de elaboração os Projetos Executivos para Unidades Escolares nos Distritos de Bate-Pé e Cabeceira da Jibóia (Limeira).
Ao final da audiência, o parlamentar destacou os investimentos realizados pelo Governo da Bahia na área educacional. “Estamos orgulhosos do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues e da secretária Rowena Brito pelo trabalho desenvolvido. Já são mais de R$ 5 bilhões investidos na requalificação e ampliação da rede física estadual no padrão para funcionar em tempo integral, o que vem se refletindo diretamente na melhoria da qualidade do Ensino no Estado”, afirmou.
